Personally, I think it came out in the shape I wanted! For the material, I was deciding between ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and I used septal cartilage to build up the nasal tip, plus silicone. I went to Between because I heard they’re famous for doing natural-looking noses well, and isn’t this pretty natural??
Aftercare! Around week 3? most of the swelling had gone down, and there was no heat or inflammation! At first, I felt like there was swelling and heat? so I kept KakaoTalk messaging the manager, and I felt so sorry because she replied even pretty late I had just messaged because I thought of course she’d answer tomorrow, and I didn’t want to forget to contact her..
It was nice that the director managed my swelling, bruising, and scar care too, but personally I was so thankful to the manager who kept going back and forth with me on KakaoTalk.. I didn’t know, but apparently rather than just lying still because you had surgery, taking some walks helps recovery too.
It feels like just yesterday that I had a consultation asking for a nose like Karina’s, but I’m happy I found a nose that suits my place in life..
