Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Please Read My Review of 3-Part Facial Contouring!

Before-before-after-before hello. This is my review one month and two weeks after 3-part facial contouring, masseter reduction, and cortical osteotomy at ㅅㅅㅇ.

On the day of surgery, I was very nervous and was really worried about general anesthesia (I was afraid I wouldn’t wake up;). I remember entering the operating room and the anesthesiology director coming in, and when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room. In a dazed state, I vaguely remember the director coming over and saying the surgery went well.

My throat didn’t hurt much, but it took almost a week for my voice to come out properly. I had seen many reviews saying people felt nauseous after waking from anesthesia, so I was worried, but for me, the headache was harder than that. My face felt heavy and uncomfortable, and overall my condition was really poor. I think I spent the night repeatedly falling asleep and waking up.

The hardest period was from the day of surgery to day 3, especially because of the headache, and until days 4-5 I had tooth pain, which was difficult. From day 6, it started to feel more manageable. I couldn’t walk much, but when I visited the hospital at week 2, the director said my swelling looked like someone one month out, about the level of swelling after having wisdom teeth removed. Still, I looked unnatural enough that it was not ideal to meet friends who didn’t know I had surgery haha.

Currently, most of the major swelling has gone down, but I’m hoping the candy-like cheek swelling and the overall line swelling will go down more. There is still a slightly firm swelling inside my cheeks and a pulling sensation at the incision area of the anterior chin. Since the one-month mark, the speed of swelling reduction feels a bit slower, so I hope two months and three months come quickly and the swelling goes down completely. Even though the swelling hasn’t fully gone down yet, I feel like the lines have become smoother and my face is smaller than before.

A long-looking face was also one of my complexes. At first, it felt awkward that my chin looked shorter, but as it gradually settled, my overall face length looked shorter than before, so I think I look younger too. I’m looking forward to the overall look once all the swelling is gone.
