To put it simply, let’s say there are doctors A, B, and C.
Last March, while I was looking into eye surgery,
I originally wanted surgery from Doctor A, but it was too expensive.
So I ended up getting surgery from Doctor B, who was relatively cheaper (not that experienced).
But now, almost a year later, my double eyelid surgery has completely come undone.
Trying to save money ended up backfiring...
Anyway, since it hasn’t quite been a year yet, I’m trying to get an AS revision.
The problem is that Doctor B moved to another clinic.
So the original clinic said that instead of Doctor B,
Doctor C, who newly joined, would check my eyes and talk to me about the AS revision.
But Doctor C also has about the same amount of experience as Doctor B.
The surgery fee is probably similar too, right?
I’m going in for a consultation soon.
Since the surgeon in charge of my surgery is changing, I’m worried there may be an additional separate AS fee.
Also, I feel bad saying this about Doctor C, but I’m uncomfortable entrusting the AS revision to someone without much experience.
As I expect it, there are three possibilities:
1. Additional cost under 500,000 won Doctor C does the AS revision
2. Additional cost over 500,000 won Doctor C does the AS revision
3. Additional cost over 1,000,000 won Doctor A does the AS revision
If it’s case 2, I’ll just give up on the AS revision.
If it’s case 1 or 3, I’m conflicted.
What would be the best thing to do...
