I took before-and-after photos after the surgery, but my forehead looked so sunken, so since I was getting facial contouring anyway, I decided to rest properly while I was in pain and got filler too. The photos were taken with the same Galaxy default camera. The surgery I had was '3 types of facial contouring + facial liposuction' together. I'll come back to post another review next time.
2-week review
Surgery and pain
Facial contouring is such a major surgery that I was a little nervous, but I was like, "Ah, whatever, I'm going under general anesthesia anyway, so let's just sleep deeply and come back.." and went while reassuring myself. When I woke up and opened my eyes, my throat was so dry, my eyes hurt, and the pain was seriously intense. Pain I had never experienced in my life... I think it was really indescribably painful on the day of surgery and until the next day.
Swelling
I think I swelled even more because I had 3 types of facial contouring and facial liposuction together. On the day of surgery and the next day, I thought it was a relief that I didn't swell as much as expected, but as day 2 and day 3 went on, it swelled more and more and more, and it swelled even more on day 4, so I was really depressed.. I had to go to work too, and I was much more swollen than expected.. So I walked about 20,000 steps a day, and it seemed like the swelling went down a little, so I diligently went for walks every morning and evening.
Aftercare and clinic service
For aftercare, when I went to have the bandage removed in week 1 and when I went to have the intraoral stitches removed in week 2, they provided care to help the swelling go down quickly, which was nice. I think it helps with reducing swelling. The clinic service is friendly, but please note that there can be waiting time haha.
Results and sensation
It's only been a little over 2 weeks, so I still have swelling. It doesn't show from the front, but I can feel that my side profile has changed a lot. From the front, because of the swelling, I currently look more swollen than before surgery. I like that the biggest visible change is in my jawline. Sensation has returned in my upper lip and cheeks, but it still hasn't come back around my lower lip and chin. I think it will need a little time.
