2-Month Review After Two Facial Contouring Procedures

It’s already been 2 months since I had facial contouring surgery (square jaw, cheekbones) Right after surgery, time went by so slowly, and I worried about when the swelling would go down and how long the discomfort would last, but now I sometimes even forget that I had facial contouring surgery haha First, since my early 20s, my broad face shape was a complex for me, so I had looked into facial contouring surgery a lot since then, but among plastic surgeries, it’s one that touches the bones, so I don’t think I could make the decision lightly all that time. I did it after turning 30.. and after doing it, I thought it would have been even better if I’d done it earlier I had it done by Director Kwon Jae-hyun at Soda Plastic Surgery. After doing a fair amount of online research and in-person consultations, I originally thought I would definitely do it at another hospital, but by chance I had a consultation at Soda Plastic Surgery and got the feeling, this is the hospital!! Of course the desk staff were great, and the director was completely kindness itself. I felt I could entrust my face to this director, and I strongly felt that even if side effects or other issues happened later, communication would go well, so I decided. Right after surgery, I had throat pain + nausea + facial pain, and it was truly so hard that I thought I could never do it again, but that was the hardest time.. After that, it’s a battle with swelling. The swelling was definitely severe until day 5, and after that it gradually went down, then after one month it went down noticeably more. I did cold and warm compresses and took swelling-reducing medicine and all that, but compared to that, going for a 1-hour walk is the best for reducing early swelling! And because it’s a battle with time, the answer was to wait without stressing. I’m an office worker, so I took 6 days off and went to work wearing a mask, and with the mask on, no one noticed. But eating with other people felt awkward, and my mouth didn’t open well, so I couldn’t do it for a month (that was the hardest part) Now at 2 months, except for very big hamburgers, I can eat meat too, and there’s nothing I specifically can’t eat, so I’m eating everything haha I wanted a face line that was slightly more natural than flashy, so from the 1-month mark, I liked my face shape!! Maybe because I’ve also lost 10 kg compared to the day of surgery, people tell me I’ve gotten prettier and my face has gotten smaller, and every time I hear it, I feel so good haha They say it will go down more until 6 months, so I’m looking forward to it too
