I used to have many depressed scars around the butterfly zone on both cheeks, but they are definitely improving since I started going to the clinic regularly; I had also received about two sessions of Fraxel laser treatment before, but it did not have much effect at the time.. If anything, I developed some hyperpigmentation.. lol (I think my poor aftercare was largely to blame.) So this time I decided to take proper care of them and kept going to the clinic, and they have definitely improved (I don't know if you can tell from the photos, but the texture has improved a lot, and makeup seems to apply much better!) This time I didn't only have Fraxel laser like before. At first I mainly received subcision and skin-regeneration injections, and after the indentations improved somewhat, I had Fraxel. (I alternated the lasers, occasionally mixing in erbium laser and Pico Fraxel!!) Oh, and the skin-regeneration injection is a type of collagen booster specifically for scars. I had it together with every laser treatment, and my scars have definitely improved a lot lol. The clinic I go to is [Clinic A], a clinic specializing in scars, you know?? Maybe because they specialize in scars, the treatment direction is clear, and the doctor is assigned to me, so the same doctor keeps treating me. (Mine is Dr. Heo Ga-young.) Since they know my skin condition well, I feel they are really taking good care of me lol. I had so many scars and the treatment takes a long time, so I do have to keep going regularly, but seeing the improvement gives me strength lol.
