In celebration of getting lipo on my abdomen and arms back-to-back-back-back-back-back, I’m writing a belated lower-inner-thigh lipo review.
I had the surgery for my inner thighs on November 26, 2021. I’ve been obese since birth, and no matter how much weight I lost, my arms or thighs never really slimmed down.. so I finally had surgery. They said 6,000 cc was removed, but I think the pure fat was in the high 4,000 cc range???
Someone said lower-inner-thigh lipo is like being in a state where you’ve done a lot of squat training for your thighs.. but no, absolutely not. It really, really, really hurts. On the day of surgery, when the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, it didn’t hurt?? But as soon as evening came, no joke, really, I felt like someone was slicing my thighs with a knife. So I kept taking Tylenol.. but it still hurt. My boyfriend said it was the first time he’d seen me cry like that. It wasn’t until 3 a.m. that the pain eased enough for me to fall asleepㅡㅡ
And when you have to go to the bathroom? It’s just hell. I couldn’t sit down properly and had to do it while only half-sitting. It took about a week after surgery before sitting started to feel somewhat comfortable.
At first, I regretted having the surgery? But once the swelling went down, I was satisfied. Because my inner thighs no longer rub together when I walk, my pants don’t wear through anymore. And I can wear shorts with confidence now.
The downside of lipo is that it makes other areas look unbalanced, which makes you want to get other areas done too. So before Seollal, I had lipo on my arms and abdomen...^^
After the lower-inner-thigh lipo, because of hormonal issues, I gained 12 kg. Even then, my legs didn’t really gain much.
The first and second photos are before lipo, and my height and weight at the time were 162/63.
The third and fourth are photos taken on January 1, 2022.
The fifth, sixth, and seventh are from January 9, 2022. The last photo was taken three months ago!
