While I was concerned about skin sagging, I called P Plastic Surgery in Sinnonhyeon in June 2021 for a consultation, and a person there called Manager Shin kept saying she had been busy with patients and called me back for a consultation when it was almost 11 p.m. At the time, I got the impression that she was kind because she even gave me a consultation by phone so late at night. So I made time to visit the clinic, and after the counseling manager saw me, she said I wasn’t sagging enough to need surgery and that skin laser treatment would improve it to some extent. She recommended Ultherapy and Rejuran. A few days later, trusting this counseling manager, I received Ultherapy 300 shots, Rejuran 4 cc, and salivary gland Botox at this clinic. They said Ultherapy and Rejuran were very painful, so I received the procedures under sedation. I’ve had more than one or two surgeries here and there under sedation before, but I don’t know what kind of drug they use there because even two hours after the procedure ended, I could not wake up from the anesthesia at all, and I was so dizzy until the next day. In all my life, I had never had such a hard time after sedation. If the procedure results had been good, there would be no need to bring this up. But after the procedures, my plump facial fat became hollow, making me look 5 to 6 years older than before. Even though I had 4 cc of Rejuran, my skin looked drier and rougher, and the salivary gland Botox also showed almost no change in the size of my salivary glands. At the time, during both phone and in-person consultations, I never once said I wanted to reduce facial fat, and I said several times that I was considering surgery because of skin sagging. But the counseling manager recommended procedures that were not suitable for me. Ultherapy laser makes the skin contract, so the skin adheres to the muscle and the face becomes hollow, but the sagging skin does not lift. I looked much older than before the procedure. After receiving three procedures while also going through the pain of sedation, I did not see any effect from even one of them. So in September 2021, I visited the clinic and requested a refund. The director also looked at the before-and-after photos and acknowledged it, but said a refund was not possible and that instead they would provide nasolabial fold filler and Botox for wrinkles at the outer corners of my eyes as a service, then left saying there was surgery. But I had received a cash discount and still paid a large amount in the 1.2 million won range for the procedures. Considering the pain I went through from sedation, the fact that after the procedures I looked much older than before and it interfered with my work, and that all three procedures had no effect at all, it was hard for me to accept that level of service. So I told the counseling manager I also wanted calf Botox. She said she would check with the director and contact me, but there was no contact afterward, so I assumed it had been approved. In January 2022, I had some time available and called the counseling manager to make an appointment for the procedure, but she did not answer the phone, and after a long time she replied on KakaoTalk saying that if I wanted to make an appointment, I should call the desk directly. Before the procedures, she called day and night, kindly consulted with me, and replied to KakaoTalk in real time, but after the procedures her attitude changed completely 360 degrees. So I called the desk, made an appointment, and went to the clinic. I said, “Because this clinic already ruined my face once, I’m scared to have another procedure on my face, so I don’t want nasolabial fold filler or Botox for wrinkles around the eyes. I just want calf Botox. How many times can I get it at most?” The director suddenly got angry, said more than once was not possible, and stormed out. I also got angry and asked the counseling manager to bring out the person in charge of complaints at this clinic. She said she was the person in charge and told me to speak to her. I said, “If you look at other clinics now, they are holding calf Botox events for 30,000 to 50,000 won, and last time the director said he would provide three services: nasolabial fold filler, Botox for wrinkles around the eyes, and calf Botox. If I don’t get the nasolabial fold filler and Botox for eye wrinkles, shouldn’t the number of calf Botox sessions naturally be increased?” She said that last time the director had never said he would do calf Botox. So I said, “Then shouldn’t you have contacted me at the time and told me the director said calf Botox was not possible? Since there was no contact afterward, I naturally thought the director had approved calf Botox too. Then there’s no need for anything else, just please ask the director how many times calf Botox can be done at most.” She said he was in surgery now and that she would check and call me, so I left the clinic for the time being. A few days later, the counseling manager called and said, “The director said that now even one session of calf Botox is not possible, and that he can no longer see you for treatment going forward,” only saying what she wanted to say, then abruptly hung up. I spent over 1 million won, had procedures at this clinic, suffered through sedation, and even had my face ruined, and now they say they will refuse further treatment… Have you ever seen such an irresponsible clinic? Also, this person who is supposedly a doctor acknowledged it in September 2021 while looking at the before-and-after photos, saying a refund was not possible but that he would provide various services, and now he keeps changing his words, saying even one session of calf Botox is not possible. When you go to this clinic, you absolutely have to record everything. Both the doctor and the counseling manager keep changing what they say. In short, this place is not a clinic. Doctors and counseling managers are not gods, so they can make mistakes. But if they gave a patient a poor outcome, shouldn’t they at least make an effort to resolve it? It is really worse than a shop that sells goods. Everyone needs to know about a clinic like this. I spent money and had procedures to look younger, but the result made me look older, and I suffered major damage because of it. Still, they said they would provide service procedures, so I tried to just endure it and move on, but since the clinic is acting like this, I can no longer hold back. I am posting this in the hope that there will be no more victims like me.
