In 2004, I was constantly dealing with eye infections and styes because my eyelashes pointed downward. An ophthalmology clinic suggested doing double eyelid surgery, which startled me, so I booked a plastic surgery clinic and had double eyelid surgery there.
At the time, I had monolids, thick upper eyelids, and a narrow distance between my eyes and eyebrows. I had a little medial epicanthoplasty (there wasn’t much extra skin), incision double eyelid surgery (a thin line close to an inner double eyelid because the distance between my eyebrows and eyes was short), and fat removal above the eyes. Now, 20 years later, even though it was an incision method, the left side has completely loosened and has no double eyelid, making the asymmetry very noticeable.
1. TS - Lee Sang-gyun Incision Ptosis correction Upper eyelid fat repositioning Forehead lift - collaboration with Director Yang Jong-pil
On the condition that I consent to partial photo use and post 3 to 4 reviews on cosmetic surgery apps 550 excluding forehead lift (VAT included) Forehead lift 199 (VAT included)
2. Noh Sang-kyun - Kim Ju-hyun Incision Ptosis correction
They said the line from 20 years ago seemed almost the best possible line, so they recommended recreating it almost the same way, but making the eyes look a bit clearer with ptosis correction. 220 (VAT included, on the condition of booking that day)
3. Orange - Kim Yang-su Incision 180 (cash price)
They also said the line from 20 years ago wasn’t bad, but it seemed like the left side had been made slightly smaller. They said my eye-opening strength wasn’t bad and I absolutely did not have ptosis, so ptosis correction wasn’t necessary. Simply resetting the line with incision would be enough to restore the double eyelid. They said that if the line went just a little deeper, about 1 mm, than the line from 20 years ago and was fixed a bit more strongly, it could come out like my eyes looked when they were pretty before the line loosened 20 years ago.
@@ For TS, the consultation with Director Lee Sang-gyun itself was fine. However, the wait was extremely long, so I stayed at the clinic for almost over 2 and a half hours. I also didn’t receive an explanation from the consultant about things like AS/follow-up revision policy. During the consultant - doctor - consultant again (price) consultation process, even after the doctor’s consultation ended, they didn’t immediately explain the price. They handled other new consultations first, so I waited almost 40 minutes, then only briefly heard the price and left. By then, my patience was really worn down.
@@ At Noh Sang-kyun, I liked the consultant’s clean and sophisticated image, and the total time from arriving at the clinic to leaving was about 45 minutes. Director Kim Ju-hyun also didn’t say anything unnecessary and didn’t push excessive procedures, though perhaps because he does so many surgeries, he did look a little tired. The consultant was also just the right level of kind, handled things neatly, and proactively provided the information I wanted, including explanations of aftercare, so I paid a same-day reservation deposit for the time being. Later, when I ultimately decided to have surgery at another clinic and requested a refund of the deposit, they smiled and refunded it cleanly right away.
@@ Orange (final decision) - Ione, known as “Apgujeong Sewing Machine,” had its earliest consultation almost at the end of April, which was difficult for my schedule. So this was a clinic recommended to me as another place with an experienced doctor. It was a one-doctor clinic, and I felt professionalism. During the consultation, I liked that they said ptosis correction, which I had been anxious about after seeing some bad reviews, was unnecessary, but that also made me a bit anxious. Still, the fact that my eye-opening strength itself was not lacking was something I had commonly heard at the previous two clinics as well, so I decided to trust an experienced specialist with good hand skills.
