Quite a long time ago, I had rhinoplasty with 4.5-5 mm Gore-Tex + septal cartilage. From the side, my glabella did not look high, but by my standards it felt slightly high. What stressed me out the most was that from the front, my nose looked a bit straight and long, and the nasal bridge stood out too much, so I started thinking about revision surgery. So for now, I was thinking of lowering the glabella and keeping the nasal tip the same or raising it just slightly.

The consultant just said things like Gore-Tex removal is difficult but he is considered one of the best at it, and that the director is skilled. But somehow, that alone did not feel persuasive enough for me to pay that price. At other places, donated rib cartilage and autologous costal cartilage differed by about 1 million won, but here the difference was only about 500,000 won.

But this director also seemed to have a pretty firm aesthetic standard of his own (a refined-glamorous feel) - he said that during surgery, he may try it in and proceed differently from the millimeter amount he had told me, choosing what suits me best. We discussed 4 mm at the glabella + raising the nasal tip with ear cartilage (adding donated rib cartilage if needed, extra 1 million won). The consultant was kind, looked at my overall face, and suggested considering paranasal augmentation too, but it was not forced - actually, it was nice because it helped me understand my face better.

He was the only one who mentioned nostril reduction, and here too, he said my glabella was not high and that rather than the glabella, the nasal tip needed to be raised a lot. This director also seemed to have a somewhat refined or glamorous style. He seemed to usually use FitMeKo, and said that to keep the nasal bridge from standing out, it might be better to use a wider silicone implant. That method felt kind of novel and appealing. The consultant was very calm-spoken and kind.
I thought I had done enough consultation-hopping, but now that I write it out like this, it feels like I only went to a few places, so that is a bit disappointing..
