I hated droopy eyes after my first surgery, so I had revision surgery~

Recent photo taken two months after surgery with makeup>Hi~ With my experience of having eye surgery several times, I’m writing a review post. I had eye surgery at The Swan last December. I did it hoping this would really be the last time. Before surgery, my eyes only had a faint double-eyelid line~ Depending on how I was feeling, it would sometimes show and sometimes not, which stressed me out. I decided to go ahead after hearing that if I did buried-suture surgery, it wouldn’t be noticeable, but even if there’s no incision line, if the buried-suture result isn’t done properly, it still looks like you had surgery because of a sausage-like eyelid and the indentation from the stitch marks.. Since I had always wanted bigger eyes, I later had lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty several times. I also made the double-eyelid line thinner because I was told that if the eyelids are sausage-like, they look smaller, and I was satisfied at first. But as time passed, it got buried like an inner double eyelid again, so I made it thicker again and was happy with a moderate thickness, but after a few years it became thin again. It kept repeating. So it wasn’t that my double-eyelid surgery was a failed case, but the shape kept changing because it kept getting thinner, so I had it done again. While doing that, I also had lateral and lower canthoplasty together, and although my eyes got bigger, scars showed at the outer corners and the eye corners dropped too much, so I didn’t like the droopy eye shape. I think the problem was that I had lower canthoplasty several times to make my eyes bigger. From other people’s point of view it may not have looked strangely droopy, but I like a cat-like eye shape, and it had drifted far from what I wanted. On top of that, when I took photos and the lighting hit me wrong, the drooping triangular area seemed to connect with the end of my eye, making my eyes look extremely droopy and ugly. It was like the illusion of drawing eyeliner too low.. The more I disliked my droopy eyes, the more I heard that if I restored the lateral canthoplasty, the eye corner would rise again only a little, and the only option was full restoration. I had done it so many times to make my eyes bigger, so I didn’t want restoration again, but I also didn’t want droopy eyes, so after being stressed for a while, I started looking into hospitals everywhere. But there really weren’t many clinics that could lift the eye corners. Most of them simply improve age-related drooping by lifting the eyebrows, and there were really very few places that actually perform surgery to lift the eye corners themselves. When I asked about thread lifting, they said they don’t do it around the eyes. I don’t know how much I searched around in person. Then I found The Swan. I felt like this was the only place that could do it, so even though I live in the provinces, I immediately booked a consultation and took the train there. They took a consultation deposit to prevent no-shows after booking, but in return they examine everything very carefully. When I went and had a consultation with the doctor, he medically explained why my eyes had the double-eyelid ends drooping and why the shape had become thinner over the years. He said that if that part is not improved, the more double-eyelid surgery you do, the more the ends droop and the thinner they become, over and over again. When I had revision double-eyelid surgery somewhere else before, I said I wanted the line to be long without drooping and to become thicker toward the back, but they told me my eye structure couldn’t do that. But after consulting with the doctor at The Swan, I learned that my eyes were indeed the kind that can’t be handled with ordinary double-eyelid surgery, but that it isn’t impossible because there is a technique only this doctor can do. The doctor told me, “Who in the world would want to become addicted to cosmetic surgery?” and I really related to that. Yes, I did want to become prettier, but because my eye shape kept changing over time, I became dissatisfied and had it done again. Looking back, I really regretted all the money, time, and stress I spent over the years. I also hated that people around me knew I had had double-eyelid surgery several times because it made me look addicted. From my experience here, for canthoplasty, do it only once or twice at most. It looked natural and turned out well, but because I kept going, I ended up with scars and a droopy look.. Canthoplasty is something you should leave while people are still clapping So after the consultation, I decided to have three procedures: a ponytail surgery to lift the droopy eye shape, cat-style double-eyelid revision surgery to make the eyelid line long and pretty, and Disney outer corner surgery to create a rounded line under the eyes. Doing three procedures was expensive, but I thought it was better to have surgery and live satisfied than to keep living under stress. So I made a surgery appointment and went in mid-December for the operation. The first and second photos are my pre-surgery photos. The ends of my double eyelids and my eyes were both droopy. Before the surgery, I had one last consultation, then entered the operating room with a nervous heart~ Every time I go into the operating room, I get so nervous that when I’m lying there I end up cursing at myself for being crazy But I guess the desire for beauty overcomes that fear~ After sedation anesthesia, they numb the area so it won’t hurt, and then I wake up quickly. They had me open and close my eyes a lot. Asking me to open and close my eyes to check both lines is something other places do too, but here the operating-room chair automatically rises and reclines, so they kept raising the chair and sitting me up to check repeatedly. The doctor kept looking at my eyes so much that they got used to them, then looked away and suddenly checked them again; it was the first time I’d seen someone work like that~ On top of that, he covered my nose at first and later checked whether it matched my nose too, so he looked incredibly meticulous. Because they laid me down and sat me up over and over for hours, I was so tired from that During the surgery, they showed me one completed eye in a mirror, and it was really amazing. The wonders of the human body.. After the surgery, I rested in the recovery room, then they laid me in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. The principle is that it creates a vacuum state inside the chamber to activate and promote regeneration. It was comfortable because it was care I could receive while lying down, and it was a very high-end piece of equipment. It was also a facility I hadn’t seen at other hospitals. The hospital interior was also nice, with a digital fireplace, checkered flooring, and bookshelves, giving it a stylish mood. The service facilities were luxurious too, which I liked. After that, I got the instructions and came home, and all that was left was to pray for beauty now~ The third photo is the photo taken on the day of surgery. It was swollen, but my eyes already looked refreshed. The next day my eyes were so swollen that I couldn’t open them and looked really ugly, but after about three days the major swelling went down and I gradually started looking human again. The fourth photo is from about a week after the surgery. Thankfully, the conjunctival edema was not as severe as I had worried. The fifth photo is from about a month after the surgery. It was overcorrected and the swelling still hadn’t fully gone down, so one eye had a slight three-white-eye look, but I liked that look too The sixth photo is a comparison with my eyes before surgery, and the eye shape felt very different, which was fascinating. And the last two photos are recent photos taken not quite two months after surgery. One is without makeup, and the other is with eyelash extensions and eyeliner~ The overcorrected eye has settled back, and as the swelling keeps going down, my eyes are becoming even more defined. I’m so happy that my droopy-looking eye shape has improved. Recently, people have even told me my eyes are long, which was the first time I’d ever heard that in my life! It seems to have worked. I do have a scar because the incision was made around the eyebrow area, but they said it would disappear in about six months, so I’m diligently applying ointment. Even now, it’s not very visible when I put on makeup~ When I take photos, they don’t come out looking droopy like before as much, and my once-round eyes now look more open horizontally, giving them a more three-dimensional feel. I’m satisfied~ According to the doctor, once you have this surgery, the outer corners of the eyes won’t droop quickly from aging, so you can maintain a younger-looking eye shape even as you get older~ I hope this eye shape stays pretty for a long, long time this time~ I posted this hoping it would help others who are worried about droopy eye shapes, and I sincerely hope this becomes my last surgery too~
