I used to only look at Instagram, YouTube, and Naver cafes, but the posts felt too formulaic? Because of the typical posts and comments from the “just farming points” generation, I left and moved over to this community.
I had only been doing online research around Sinsa and Apgujeong, and this was my first in-person consultation.

Consultation details I went during lunchtime, and maybe because of the time slot, there were quite a few people. Considering it is not a large hospital, maybe a lot of people go there?
As with other places, the consultation fee was 10,000 won, and they said it would be deducted if I had surgery. They said originally there was no consultation fee, but because more people like me came after watching YouTube and then just looked at the doctor’s face and left, it caused issues, so they started charging a consultation fee lol. That hit home.. haha
First, for my eyes, I said that my line changes depending on my condition that day when I wake up, and that I wanted the line slightly higher and fixed, with a pretty celebrity-like feel. Then they used something like a stick? to make and show me various lines and gave examples.
They said incision would probably be more definite than buried sutures, and I did like the line they showed me the most. But maybe I looked like I was hesitating a bit (honestly, I was really agonizing at this point ㅠㅠ), because they said my eyes are already very pretty, and if I do it, I should either fix them clearly, or it might be fine not to do it. They said they did not strongly recommend it, and that some people regret it after surgery because their natural beauty disappears, so that made me worry even more ㅠㅠ
But it also seemed like they were not forcing things the way I had imagined from YouTube, so that was good for now. I decided to think about it, and that was it for the eyes!
For breasts, I said my chest is just like a flat, pressed hotteok shape, so I just wanted more volume.
They explained implants and told me examples and cases similar to my breast shape! But I mentioned that I saw on Instagram that a female breast specialist would be coming from August, and since she is not there right now, they said that once that director comes, we can look again together, or they will let me know if there is anything notable.
So I plan to visit again when the breast director comes, and I decided not to do my eyes! For now, I think I will do my breasts first and then consider whether to do my eyes too haha
They said that for women, even just having the body shape stand out can create sex appeal, so people often view you more romantically. That made me think I do not really need to be too greedy about my eyes, so I am putting them on hold…!
It was good that there did not seem to be any pressure like what I had seen on YouTube or Instagram. If I revisit or end up having breast surgery, I will share another review!
