Eye Re-Surgery

Can eye swelling go down from the middle first and make the line look distorted?

The buried suture line I had 10 years ago (an in-out line close to a semi-out line) came undone, so I had revision buried suture surgery at the same hospital, with the same director, on the exact same existing line.

It’s been 9-10 weeks now. Until the day before yesterday, it looked like a semi-out line (the black line in the attached drawing), but now when I open my eyes clearly, the line width in the middle has narrowed, so it feels a bit distorted? (red line) My eyes suddenly started looking too intense.

Is it that the swelling in the inner corner area is going down late, so it should go inward like an in-out line but still hasn’t gone in and still looks like a semi-out line, while the middle went down first and made it look distorted? Overall, the major swelling seems to be gone now, and it feels like only minor swelling? (a thick-skin feeling) remains.
