Because of the level-up requirement, I’m sharing my double eyelid surgery story from 2 years ago. In the provinces, without really looking into anything, I just went to a roughly famous large hospital, booked surgery right away, and got double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. I didn’t know anything, and because I was worried it would look obvious that I had double eyelid surgery, I asked them to make a natural inline crease (why did I do that)
From the first day after double eyelid surgery, the swelling wasn’t severe, so I heard a lot that it turned out really well. At one month, it was very pretty.. But after 3 months, the line gradually disappeared, and then it was completely gone. By the 1-year mark, I was basically living with almost hidden double eyelids, and it was to the point where I wondered, did I even get epicanthoplasty? Of course, at first I thought a natural look would be good, but when the line really disappeared, I got very stressed. Now I carefully checked places in Seoul and had revision surgery.
For people planning double eyelid surgery, make sure to go around to several places for consultations / try creating the line during consultation with the surgeon (if you can’t consult with the surgeon, skip that place) / look at reviews carefully but don’t believe everything (there’s a lot of Photoshop) / don’t overemphasize that you want it too natural
Really be meticulous, and meticulous again.. Revision surgery was 3 times the price of the first surgery… Since revision surgery is expensive, definitely be careful with the first surgery!!!
