During my first surgery, I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage. So because this is my second surgery and my septum is deviated, they said they’ll do it only with rib cartilage, without reusing septal cartilage. I’m planning to use either donated rib cartilage or autologous rib cartilage, and they said they use whole donated rib cartilage. When I looked it up, there seem to be sliced donated rib cartilage and whole donated rib cartilage. Has anyone had surgery using whole donated rib cartilage?
