RLB Plastic Surgery (the place I went for my first surgery) Consultation fee free, almost no waiting time The chief doctor who had done my first rhinoplasty 6 years ago left, so I consulted with Dr. HJY, the current chief doctor. For reference, I have experience getting revision double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction from Dr. HJY, and I’m just getting by with it, fairly satisfied. For the nose, he said to use either donated rib cartilage or autologous rib cartilage at the tip, and if there is a visible boundary where it meets the bridge, to use Alloderm, and to use silicone for the bridge. I don’t really remember the cost of autologous rib cartilage, but according to the price I wrote down in my notes, donated rib cartilage was around 3.5 million won (the cheapest among the hospitals).
MYD I remember the consultation fee was free, but the waiting time was long I originally went because of Dr. MSG, but the consultation coordinator said Dr. MSG does not use silicone in the bridge, and uses something like autologous dermis instead, so if I wanted a glamorous nose, it would be better to see the newly joined doctor, and I got led in almost as if I were under a spell.. The consultation was kind, but I wasn’t drawn to it Silicone for the bridge and autologous rib cartilage for the tip came to 7.7 million won, but with an event discount it was 6.6 million won if you covered your eyes and only showed your nose
GRYSEOIYI There was a consultation fee, and the waiting time was just average I consulted with Dr. YGH and everyone was kind. The consultation was a bit long, and the doctor had tremendous confidence and showed me all the photos he had personally taken. But he spoke in a roundabout way, and kept throwing unclear questions back at me, so communication was the hardest part there;; It was the only hospital that recommended only autologous rib cartilage, and he said donated rib cartilage is hopeless if inflammation occurs. Because of that, even if I went somewhere else, I decided I’d have to get autologous rib cartilage..ㅠㅠ Autologous rib cartilage at the tip, silicone already in the bridge lowered a bit, alar base lowering, and nasolabial angle correction all together: 8.5 million won
JYT I can’t remember the consultation fee.. sorry. Waiting time was just average From the reviews, this was the hospital whose line I liked the most, so I went with huge expectations. I’m not sure the coordinator was that kind; I felt pressured to book, and when I talked with the coordinator again after seeing the doctor, I asked for photos of cases where the doctor had operated on a bulbous nose like mine. Then they said there was no nose like mine. So I just asked to show me a similar nose, but they said there wasn’t one and didn’t show me anything;;; I got annoyed and the trust I had and my desire for surgery just dropped instantly The doctor just gave a somewhat cynical consultation. So-so They placed a support structure by stacking donated rib cartilage on the septum, put ear cartilage in the tip, osteotomy was optional, and silicone heightening: 5.5 million won That was the most reasonable price, at least in my view
I’m planning consultations at MYD and YY soon But lately I’ve been seeing bad reviews about MYD on this community, so I’m not really drawn to it And as for YY, the consultation is still far off, and it’s unclear when surgery could even happen, so I’m almost not expecting anything
