I had surgery at lunchtime today, and now I'm admitted and recovering. If anyone here is thinking about facial contouring, I'm leaving a vivid review in hopes it helps.
First, after arriving at the hospital, I changed clothes right away, gargled, washed my face, and waited. Then I had one more consultation with the director, signed the consent form, waited, and went into the operating room. Once I actually went in, I was so scared and cold..ㅠㅠ The nurses were all around me doing various things, and I was so scared that I was crying, but the moment they put something like an oxygen mask to my mouth, I fell asleep.
After that, I woke up to voices saying, "Patient, you need to wake up," and came to the recovery room in a dazed state. It hurt so much I thought I was going crazy. It really hurt so badly that I kept rolling around on that narrow bed and hitting my thighs to endure it. It was truly pain I had never experienced before, so I don't know how to explain it.. I thought I was pretty good at tolerating pain, but I guess not at all..
For now, I had cheekbone reduction, square jaw reduction (long curve), and front chin trimming(?) done, and I don't really know about the cheekbones, but my jaw area hurts like crazy. It's hard to explain in words, but it just hurts so damn much. And my mouth won't close.. My throat is so dry and I can't even swallow saliva, so it's agonizing.. On top of that, they don't give water.. They said they'd give water after 3 hours, so it was truly hell.. I'm sleepy, but they told me not to sleep either..ㅠ
After 3 hours, they gave me a little water, but it was uncomfortable because of the drainage tubes.. It kept dribbling out, so even when I drank water, it didn't feel like I drank any.. I can't swallow water well either.. It feels like my throat is blocked because of phlegm? I can't cough properly, and it hurts so much..ㅠㅠ
When they removed the drainage tubes, how should I put it, it was bearable but painful. Compared to the jaw and throat pain, I think it was tolerable. It did hurt, but my throat and jaw hurt insanely badly.. When they wiped the blood, they put gauze inside my mouth and wiped the blood, and I was screaming "Aak, aak"..ㅠ
After the drainage tubes were removed, I drank tons of water. I had COVID twice, and it felt about a hundred times more painful than the sore throat I had then.. If I didn't drink water, I felt like I would really die ㅜㅜ So I kept drinking and kept going to the bathroom.. Even now, the nurse is continuing to work hard because of me..
Now that painkillers are going in, it's still more bearable than earlier.. haha My face is swollen huge right now, like fan lady.. and bruising has only slightly appeared under one eye so far. By tomorrow it'll be more swollen and bruised, right..?ㅠㅠ
Everyone here who had facial contouring is seriously amazing. How did you endure itㅠㅠ It really, really hurts more than you can imagine, so if you're thinking about facial contouring, please think about it once more,, You're already beautiful enough as you are. There are many people who love you exactly as you are. I hope you think it over once more and decide carefully,,
