Before <before surgery> After <4 months after surgery> After <4 months after surgery> At 2 months, I thought all the major swelling had gone down, so I confidently posted a review lol But what do you know, once I reached 4 months, it settled even better, so I’m posting another review~!
I had ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery together, and because my preferred look is a dramatic line, I told the director to make the surgery absolutely dramatic
I said this in my previous post too, but I asked to have epicanthoplasty done together, then didn’t do it because the director opposed it. I would have regretted it if I had.. Once I got double eyelids, my eyes looked more open, so the stuffy look disappeared.. As expected, I don’t think plastic surgery should be done 100% only according to my own will
My own opinion is important too, but while going around for consultations at several places, you really have to listen carefully to what they recommend
I recovered quickly enough that even people around me acknowledged it, and it may not be much of a tip, but.. if I share some tips,
1. Aftercare: I’ll say this in advance, but there’s nothing to share.. Sorry lol Since the clinic is far from my house, I couldn’t receive all the care the clinic provided.. The consultant contacted me several times and took care of me, telling me to come in for progress checks, but I didn’t go.. I felt sorry
2. Walking: I think this helped me a lot! I walked whenever I had time, and without missing a single day, I went outside and walked like I was power walking lol Honestly, eye surgery isn’t a surgery with severe pain and there isn’t much discomfort either, so I think anyone can do it as long as they overcome the laziness
3. Ice packs: I just did this at home whenever I had time, and all I did was come back from a walk, wash up cleanly, lie on the bed, and do it for 10-15 minutes. I think it helps reduce the major swelling in the early stage!
And not only the three things above, but honestly the easiest way is to have surgery with no swelling from the start... lol Even though I had incisional surgery and ptosis correction, the swelling went down quickly, so I thought it was a good thing I had gone to multiple consultations before having surgery
That’s why the consultation stage is difficult, and I also think I succeeded because I didn’t have surgery at a clinic that said everything I wanted was possible no matter what, but at a clinic that honestly told me what couldn’t be done.. So everyone, don’t go to only 1-2 places and make a hasty decision about surgery. I hope you visit several places before getting surgery. Since plastic surgery is something I’m receiving myself, being careful about everything is best~!
