This time, I had revision eye surgery and nose surgery together at VN! At VN Plastic Surgery, there are separate directors in charge of eyes and nose. The eye director kept showing me the line by adjusting it by millimeters, and the nose director showed me through virtual simulation which nose line would suit my face shape, implementing it directly.
I had experience with eye surgery, but it was my first nose surgery, so after removing the cast, until I could properly see my nose in the mirror, I remember feeling half excited and half nervous hehe
Director Kim Tae-hoon said my right eyebrow is a bit lower, so my eyes have limits in terms of symmetry, and he even said my left eye is a bit more sunken.. Still, he said he would set the line the way I wanted so it could be as symmetrical as possible. (raising the double eyelid height by 1 mm each, with a semi-out line!)
For my nose, I wanted a more dramatic look with the nasal tip line lifted more clearly, and the materials used were septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage. I had the surgery with Director Oh Seung-il.
After revision eye surgery, maybe because I’m the type who swells a lot, it felt like the lines were becoming uneven, so I got really impatient, thinking something had gone wrong... The hospital reassured me, saying we should watch it over time and that they would provide swelling laser treatment and care anytime. Looking back, I think I was really lacking patience.. since it had not even been 1 month...
And after removing the cast, I was honestly also very worried about how long the swelling in my nose would last. My nose was higher than I expected, so during recovery I think I kept asking questions because I felt anxious. Still, every time I asked, they explained calmly and well without any change in attitude, so I felt reassured.. I think I contacted them once a day.. am I a difficult patient
Now it has been a little over a month since surgery, and as my eyes and nose go through recovery, they seem to be gradually becoming more natural lol I’m curious how long it will take for everything to fully settle..!! But I’m not worried anymore.
