2-week review of male double-eyelid surgery with buried sutures

After <2 weeks>After <2 weeks>After <2 weeks>Before <before surgery>After <day of surgery>This is a 2-week review of male non-incisional buried-suture double-eyelid surgery at Tobi Plastic Surgery, with Director Kim Do-hoon.

On the day of surgery, I thought I had not swollen much, but as each day passed, I could see the swelling going down steadily. Now, as I was told during the preoperative consultation, the line has come down to the point where it is only slightly visible at the ends. It seems to be settling in more and more naturally.

I had the stitches removed on day 4 and went back to work from day 5. Naturally, most people I met noticed right away that I had double-eyelid surgery. Since there was still some swelling, some people reacted that it looked a bit heavy, while others said it turned out nicely.

By week 2, once the swelling had gone down a lot, more people reacted that it looked fine. To be honest, I was so satisfied with it myself that other people’s reactions did not matter much, but it did feel good to hear positive reactions haha.

The doctor said that, because of the characteristics of my eyes, it would loosen after a few years, but for now, I’m hoping it doesn’t come undone and stays like this for as long as possible.
