I had double eyelid surgery as my first cosmetic surgery about 4-5 years ago, and I had it done at ㄷㄹ Plastic Surgery, which was famous at the time as the Girls’ Generation plastic surgery clinic. To keep the conclusion brief, now it’s almost completely loosened, so I’m considering revision surgeryㅠ
At first, what I hated most was anything unnatural, so I asked them to make it as natural as possible, even if it became an inner double eyelid. But they said ptosis correction was essential because I tended to open my eyes using my forehead, so I had ptosis correction done too. Among the 5 clinics I consulted at then, 3 recommended ptosis correction, so I decided to do it. But while ptosis correction definitely does improve the strength of opening the eyes, it’s far from looking natural, so for a while I was stressed whenever I took photos because my eyes looked prominent (like the double eyelid surgery had been done thickly)... for almost over 2 years.... I hope people who are going to do ptosis correction think carefully before doing it.
And now, in the end, I’m looking into revision surgery, and I keep thinking maybe I should have done incisional surgery in the first place, considering it might loosen. This time, I really hope the surgery doesn’t loosen and turns out somewhat natural.... Both eyes are almost completely loosened anyway, but if anyone here knows a good clinic for revision surgery, please recommend one!!
