1-year review after total removal surgery for contracted nose

I had my first nose surgery a long time ago, and then about 6 years later I had revision rhinoplasty using donated costal cartilage. After the revision, from around year 3, without any major symptoms, I suddenly started feeling a slight pulling sensation little by little, and I think contracture began to progress. Since the contracture progressed slowly without me noticing, at some point I thought, huh? Is my nose lifted? When I compared photos, it really had lifted a lot. The nasal tip was lifted, and the step-off between the nasal bridge and nasal tip started becoming more and more noticeable, so while looking into revision rhinoplasty, around January last year I had total nose implant/material removal surgery.. Since it was a nose where contracture was progressing, I knew the shape couldn’t be guaranteed with removal alone, but rather than another revision, I was just sick of everything and wanted to take it all out.. With that mindset, I leaned toward total removal and after much thought decided to remove everything from my nose... They said that if, after 6 months from the removal surgery, I still really didn’t like it, revision surgery would also be possible, so this time I had the removal surgery with the mindset of letting go of my expectations as much as possible. Before surgery, they told me in advance that if the tissue was in very poor condition and there were sunken areas, they would reinforce them with dermis, and during the removal surgery, in the end they said they reinforced the sunken area on the nasal dorsum, like a saddle nose, with AlloDerm. From before the removal surgery and even after surgery, what I worried about most was whether my nose would lift even more So the doctor taught me downward taping to prevent nasal tip upturning, and I tried to keep doing it for as long as possible Whenever I was home and when sleeping, I always did the taping they taught me. The contraction phase came around 1 month, and sometimes I felt a tightening sensation. For me, I think the contraction phase occasionally continued until a little past 6 months. After that, I could gradually feel it stabilizing. At 6 months, I asked people around me how it looked to others, and they said it just looked like an ordinary nose. They said it wasn’t noticeable enough for anyone to care, so I felt so relieved. As I gradually focused more on other things and lived my life, it has already been over a year. So far, the AlloDerm reinforcement has not sunken again or caused any problems. Because of the desire I had all along, thinking, maybe I should just fix it a little more.. I ended up coming this far, but after realizing and learning that other people aren’t that interested in my appearance, I started focusing more on other things rather than cosmetic surgery, and I feel lighter both inside and out. Sometimes I do feel a little envious of a glamorous, high, pretty nose, but when I think about the process I went through, I’m happy that I can now live with my current nose without worry and with a lighter heart ^^ I hope everyone else stops being so stressed too.
