Hi I'm a guy looking into plastic surgery because I want to become better-looking.
Over 2 days, I went around to a total of 5 places for consultations. I'm writing this so I can remember it, so please just take it as reference only.
1. ㅂㄴㄴ This was also the first hospital I visited, and since it's a one-doctor private clinic and the director is quite well known for revision rhinoplasty too, my expectations were high.

Good points After entering the clinic, the wait time was short. The consultant was kind. The director came in and gave a detailed, thorough consultation for about 15-20 minutes, going through things one by one. No pressure to pay a deposit.
Disappointing points There was no CT scan. That's all. They said a lot of good things, saying my expected result after surgery seemed likely to be a very good case.
Surgery plan Nasal bridge 4 mm, nasal tip septal cartilage (donated costal cartilage if needed), bulbous nose, hump removal This was when I found out I had a hump.
The price was right within my expected range and reasonable.
2. ㄷㄷㄹ I went because it was mentioned a lot in another men's plastic surgery cafe.

Good points Even though it's a medium-to-large plastic surgery clinic using 2 floors of the building, the wait time was short. The consultant was incredibly good at counseling in a way that made me feel she understood what the client wants and what improvements are needed.
Disappointing points They pressure you to pay a deposit. I wasn't necessarily expecting a look that said, "I'll make you above average even if not insanely handsome," but despite it being morning, the director looked low-energy.

The price was cheap. For broke college students, it might be a clinic like a ray of light.

I went out of curiosity because I wanted to know what a large clinic was like.

Good points It felt exactly like going from a venture company or small crappy company to joining Samsung. It's huge, clean, and the facilities are well-equipped. The departments are clearly divided, so for someone like me who lives abroad and wants to do various plastic surgeries all at once in a short time, it doesn't seem bad. There was a male consultant, so I could hear a lot of relatable things and get realistic advice.
Disappointing points The wait time is too long. There are too many directors. If you go without designating one in advance like I did, it feels like a fill-in director comes in and just takes a look at your face. (This is my guess.)

Surgery cost Even though the surgical plan included more procedures than other places, it wasn't that expensive. I actually thought it was cheap.
4. ㅌㅌㅇ I went because it was mentioned a lot in the community and I wanted to see what the atmosphere was like.

Good points I went early in the morning, so the wait time was short. Through the CT images, I found out my nasal septum was slightly deviated, and the director said that because my skin is thick, it would not be an easy surgery and would require a high level of skill from the surgeon. (I thought this was good because it was new information.)
Disappointing points What the consultant was saying didn't really register in my ears. Compared with the previous clinics, the consultation ability felt a bit lacking.

Surgery cost It was expensive, so I was shocked. Since there was no event, there was no discount applied. It seems like they compete on skill and don't lose to other hospitals.
5. ㅈㅅㅌ Recently, there have been a lot of reviews in this community too, and the clinic name often comes up in rhinoplasty discussions, so I went.

Good points I felt like there was a reason they charge a consultation fee. They put my photos on the monitor and explained while drawing the post-surgery outline by hand. They answered everything I was curious about. Example) Before/after osteotomy: other clinics all said the hump had to be removed, but here they said my hump wasn't severe, so when raising the nasal bridge and placing silicone, with just a little adjustment, it could be done sufficiently without shaving it down. The consultant asked me why I had decided to get plastic surgery while going around to clinics so far. After osteotomy, the silicone goes up
Disappointing points Even if it isn't deposit pressure, it feels like a mid-level request. (Between ㅂㄴㄴ and ㄷㄷㄹ) When everyone else talked about hump removal and only this person said it wasn't necessary, rather than being disappointed, I did feel a little uneasy.

Cost The price was right within my expected range, but considering the surgical contents, I do think it was a bit expensive.
In conclusion, I put down a deposit at the last plastic surgery clinic, ㅈㅅㅌ.
