Petit Procedure Reviews

Sebaceous cyst removal

The inflammation I thought was acne turned out to be a sebaceous cyst, so I watched YouTube and visited the clinic. The sebaceous cyst removal surgery was performed only under local anesthesia, without sedation, so I was awake throughout the procedure. The anesthesia hurt, but they did a good job, so the surgery itself did not hurt at all.

I came to a plastic surgery specialist to avoid leaving a scar, but unfortunately, a very small scar remained where the incision was made. Still, after getting laser treatment a few times elsewhere, it became almost invisible, so I’m just doing fine. My cyst was quite large to begin with, so I thought it probably couldn’t be helped.

Still, they removed it well without any remaining inflammation, so I did not need revision surgery and it did not recur.
