Review of double eyelid surgery, upper epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction at a large hospital in Gangnam

This was my first double eyelid surgery, and I did not know much, so without knowing anything I just went for a consultation at a large hospital in Gangnam with good reviews on an app. (But later I saw that it was a pretty famous blacklisted place and that there had even been a death incident.) They offered a big discount if I booked the same day, so I got something like an acquaintance discount + same-day booking discount and booked in the low 2 million won range. I booked partial incision + ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty, and after coming home I googled that hospital a bit and was shocked. Just typing the hospital name on YouTube brought up call-out reviews? and there was a lot of talk about it in this community too. I thought a lot about whether to cancel or just go through with it, but I had already paid the deposit, and double eyelid surgery is not considered a major surgery these days, so I wondered if anything would really happen and just got it done. It has been about a week since surgery now, and I had the stitches removed the day before yesterday. Mine turned out well. The upper epicanthoplasty feels a bit too much, so I do think maybe I should not have done the upper epicanthoplasty, but overall the line came out natural and nice, and I am satisfied. I succeeded, but I think it is better not to do it at a large hospital. Since it was definitely a large hospital, the facilities were really good. But the ratio of foreigners to Koreans seemed about half and half... There were quite a few Chinese people, and I saw Westerners too. The consultant and doctor were not especially unfriendly, but it felt like they were trying to finish the consultation really damn quickly. Oh, and they advertised that the hospital has CCTV, but when I asked right before surgery whether I could see the CCTV, they said I had to request CCTV in advance during the first consultation, that I had to pay 50,000 won, but that they could record the surgery scene with a camcorder, blah blah. It was ridiculous lol
