I visited yesterday, 2024.2.5, and went to the building with the Apgujeong CGV. Of course, my designated director was Director ㅂㅇㅅ.
The clinic was really bigger than I expected, and I went a little before 10 in the morning, but there were a lot of people. So many high school seniors came holding their moms' hands><,,, so cute I could die,,,
My eye condition: I'm a woman just over 30. With age, my eyelids have sagged a little + I originally had monolids, but as I got older, double-eyelid creases formed, and somehow a faint outfold double eyelid appeared + I have slight ptosis, so I tend to open my eyes with my forehead.
Overall hospital atmosphere and impression: Since the consultation was in the morning, I went in right away with less waiting than expected. The director looked at my eye condition and immediately recommended ptosis correction + non-incisional double-eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. He did hold the line a few times, but it wasn't like wow...!!! It was more like, huh? It's just my eyes, that kind of feeling lolol
Then I had a consultation with the consultant. Maybe because I went through an acquaintance referral without thinking much(?) rather than setting a specific eye shape, it felt more like an extension of the director's explanation. The surgery cost was also cheaper than expected and the surgery time was 30 minutes, so for now I paid a consultation fee of 10,000 + deposit 100,000 and came back. They said the deposit is 100% refundable until one week before the surgery date.
The director and consultant were both kind. However, since I went in with too little prior knowledge, I feel like they couldn't fully show 100% of their ability and skill in the consultation. So this is why you have to bring photos^_... And after looking it up, ptosis correction seems like a scarier surgery than I thought,,, but if he said it so confidently,,, maybe it's because he's highly skilled...???!!! Anyway, my overall review is that it wasn't bad.
Conclusion: Originally I was too lazy to look around here and there,,, and if possible I was thinking of just doing it here, but everyone in this community said to think very, very deeply about ptosis correction, so unless there is a strong reason, I plan to get more consultations at other clinics on the condition of not doing ptosis correction. Today I'm going to ㅇㅁㄹ near Gangnam Station, but I don't know how that place will be,,,, Today I'm also planning to bring a photo of my double-eyelid surgery wannabe, After School Nana (younger friends might not know her??)^^...
