I came back after slicing off my upper arms - Day 5

Hehe, I didn’t go for consultations anywhere else and just did online research before booking at Lovl Avenue. Dr. Jung Sung-woo performed the surgery, and Manager Go Ara handled the consultation. I first went to a plastic surgery clinic last year for surgery on another area, so this was my second time, and they were so kind and explained everything in such detail that I couldn’t help but feel drawn to them.

They measured the fat thickness with ultrasound and told me exactly only the areas that needed surgery.

My chest circumference has always been on the larger side, so even though I don’t weigh a lot, I looked broad-built, and thick upper arms run in my family, so for over 30 years I couldn’t even dream of wearing sleeveless tops. But after reading Lovl Avenue reviews, I suddenly went for it lol.

Both photos are from day 4 after surgery, and from the day of surgery, even my chest area swelled up. Still, even though I have a child, the pain isn’t severe and it’s not too uncomfortable! I’ll write a simple day-by-day review.

Day of surgery. I was scared of the ankle injection, but seriously it didn’t hurt at all. Standing there wearing only nonwoven underwear while they applied disinfectant was fear and horror, but after I lay face down, then the recovery room. In the recovery room, I was really so cold that I was shaking like crazy. My hands were trembling so much I couldn’t finish the porridge they gave me.

They gave me painkillers too, so it basically felt like menstruating through my elbows, and other than the incision sites hurting, there wasn’t much pain.

I guess Lovl Avenue hires all their staff based on their faces.

Day 2. The day after surgery My arms didn’t go all the way up next to my ears, but as someone used to muscle soreness, I could raise them pretty well. My right elbow occasionally leaked a drop of fluid, but from day 2 the left side flowed a lot, so the unstitched elbow stung and kept bothering me. I bought a compression garment with the chest open because I thought it would be too uncomfortable, but it seems even more uncomfortable. I’m used to always sleeping on my side, so lying flat was uncomfortable, and aside from my elbows hurting, it was bearable. *I took it off to disinfect, but after disinfecting, it felt like it took 2 hours to put it back on.. The bandage they put on after surgery was so sticky it felt like it could easily lift 300 kg... *Whether on my torso or arms, I bruised a lot. My husband isn’t the type to cry easily, but he cried when he saw me with the compression garment off.

Day 3. My arms go up pretty well. I took it off to disinfect, and it felt like my flesh was sinking toward the floor because of gravity, so wearing the compression garment actually felt more stable. The swelling started moving down to the forearms, and the chest area had been badly bruised from the first day, but from the second day it swelled so much that the chest area bulged out. Now on day 3, it has gone down a bit. The muscle soreness is bearable. (The writer has experience with pole dancing.) I think it would be bearable as long as my elbows didn’t sting. (I felt like putting bandages on my elbows hurt more, so I lived without them, just applied Fucidin once.)

Day 4. I went to work, but I was the only one wearing autumn clothes.. Since I have an office job, it was at least cool and not uncomfortable. They say muscle soreness definitely improves a lot around days 4-5, so I guess time is the medicine. I can prepare my child’s meals well and do the dishes well too. More than anything, I’m so happy I can wash starting today.

♥tip♥ If you buy a large waterproof bandage from Coupang or a pharmacy, cut it to size, apply it, and shower, not a single drop gets in.

Day 5. Because of the swelling, I still don’t really know what changed from the surgery. Today I was somewhat used to the compression garment and went to the mall wearing a cardigan. The sides do look a bit slimmer, but I hope the swelling goes down quickly.

800 cc of fat was extracted.
