I had male revision rhinoplasty for the nasal bridge, hump nose, crooked nose, functional nose issues, and correction of nasal contracture all together.
This is my 2-month post-op review. The shape of my nose is getting more and more slim, and when it catches the light, the bridge looks sharply defined, which I really like and feel satisfied with.
During my first consultation before surgery, the director told me that because my skin layer is thin, rather than raising it excessively, we should proceed by matching the angle of my nose to my face shape. These days, I feel like those words were exactly right.
Since it was a revision surgery, I managed it diligently up to the 2-month mark in case inflammation might occur. I got one PRP injection that the hospital recommended, and the pulling sensation in the columella and nasal tip definitely decreased significantly, and the shape became even slimmer, so I was really surprised. I still have 2 more sessions left, so I’m looking forward to them. Especially before and after the nose surgery, when talking with people, I like seeing myself feel confident, and my self-esteem has gone up a lot too. haha
