I originally didn’t have a huge desire for plastic surgery, but my eyes were too small compared to my face, so I really only wanted to do my eyes… So even though my mom told me to get both my eyes and nose done, I just did only my eyes, and um… in conclusion, I think it was a good choice.
I really understood what people mean when they say to only do the area you truly have a complex about.
But maybe the double-eyelid surgery line wasn’t set quite right; one side turned out pretty, but the other eye didn’t fully fold and didn’t open well. They said they would do A/S, but the anesthesia injection in my eye back then was so traumatic that I kept not doing it. Now that I’m older, a multiple double-eyelid crease has formed, so I’m trying to work up some courage;;
But the funny thing is, after double-eyelid surgery, my face felt a bit unfamiliar; I am definitely prettier than before, but for a few years, I was startled every time I looked in the mirror.
