I went for revision double-eyelid surgery consultations this week. 7 years ago, I had non-incisional ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty, but the ptosis correction effect and the line have lowered a lot, so I’m considering revision surgery.
I went to four places: Mood On, DM, DA, and Nana. All had no consultation fee, but for DA, if you want to receive a discount later if you decide to have surgery, you have to deposit a 100,000 won reservation fee (same-day deposit / 100% refundable).
- Nana Plastic Surgery Doctor: I waited and was assigned someone recommended, so I don’t know the name.. The reviews were decent and there were many of them, so I went. They were very kind during the consultation. However, when they held the line for me, it felt slightly awkward, and even when I told them the line I wanted, it didn’t seem to suit my eyes.
- DM Plastic Surgery Doctor: Director Lee Juhong He was very kind, and although the clinic isn’t very large, it felt like a famous revision-surgery clinic known only to people in the know. I was satisfied with the way he held the line. He clearly explained what surgical method he recommended, and I liked that he also told me the surgery time. I was also quite satisfied with the price.
- Mood On Plastic Surgery Doctor: Director Yoon Taekyung First of all, when I initially made the reservation by phone, the person who handled the consultation sounded slightly more stiff compared with other places, so I felt a bit, huh? When I first went in, the consultation manager told me that to raise the line on my eyes, I would need a forehead lift. It was the first time I had heard about a forehead lift, so I was taken aback, but when I consulted with the doctor, he said I didn’t need to go as far as a forehead lift, so that was okay. He said a semi-out line would be possible and that it would need to be done by incision. But the downside is,, there was no event discount, so the price was 1.5 times higher than other places.. The aftercare did seem very good.
- DA Plastic Surgery Doctor: Director Park Minseok There were really, really, re~ally many people.. Just the waiting time took over 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the consultation time was 10 minutes with the manager and 10 minutes with the doctor, so I was exhausted before even finishing the total 20-minute consultation. This was the only place where, when they held the line, the semi-out line felt slightly too much for me. So they recommended incision + a large in-out line. They showed me a total of 3 line options and gave detailed explanations. The price was slightly on the expensive side. The aftercare here also seems very good.
I went around to these four places, but I’m still debating which clinic to choose For now, I’m deciding between DA and DM, and DM attracts me more in terms of price. After Lunar New Year, I have consultations scheduled at POP Plastic Surgery and Luho Plastic Surgery, but I’m debating whether to go or not, and since it’s revision surgery, I’m really worried Which clinic would be good for incision (semi-out) + revision ptosis correction?..
