First of all, I had my first surgery 10 years ago at a small local plastic surgery clinic, with incisional double eyelid surgery,
so I lived with stress from
sausage eyelids + uneven eyes + multiple creases.
This time, since I had the money and time,
I decided to get revision surgery for more natural-looking eyes by making the line thinner and improving the sausage eyelids.
I really, really didn’t want to need a second revision, so I went up to Seoul three times to get quotes.
I got a lot of information from this community, so I’m thankful and will post a short review too..

When I asked why my eyes were uneven even though my double eyelid lines were the same and everything seemed fine, the doctor said they didn’t know either, so my trust dropped... They said the fat in my eyes had hollowed due to aging, making the line look thicker. My current line is 9 mm, and they planned to lower it to about half; they shaped the eye line well. They were confident it would succeed, and AS for 10 years. But the waiting time is really bad. Consultation fee: 20,000 won Surgery cost was the most expensive.

It’s a factory-style clinic, so there are really many doctors and really many people. There are many consultants too, so I don’t know why the wait is so long.. I had a consultation with a doctor who wasn’t the director; they weren’t very articulate, but somehow seemed like they’d be good at surgery. They didn’t shape my eye line, and just fiddled with the stick used to make the line.

They kindly explained all the consultation details so I could understand. They said I didn’t necessarily need the double-line release technique. They were confident it would succeed. If I had surgery, swelling injections and dermatology services were included. They said they’d provide AS for 3 years.

A friend’s friend’s family all did it here, so I went based on the recommendation. The chief director has 20 years of experience and seemed like a complete expert. But after waiting a long time, the consultation ended in 10 minutes.. Looking at reviews, both primary surgery and revision surgery seem to turn out naturally and well. They held my eyebrow and checked how much extra skin I had. Consultation fee: 10,000 won

Because my pupils are exposed at a diagonal angle, ptosis correction is essential. They said that with age, sagging from wrinkles can make the eyes look round. From 4 mm when my eyes are open now to 2 mm. They were confident it would succeed and seemed to have a lot of experience with double eyelid revision surgery. Definitely natural-looking. They showed me how the eye line would likely look.

I wanted to visit them all in one day, but there wasn’t enough time, and I also had to schedule consultation appointments in advance,
so I went up to Seoul three times and visited six places
I’m deciding between two of the places I visited.
I feel like many new clinics perform surgeries almost like mass production at cheap event prices,
and I could understand why the famous places are famous.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Double-line release technique: Attempted when you want naturalness and don’t have extra skin. A method where the adhesion of the original line is released and a new lower line is created. Disadvantage: two scars may form. The revision can end up following the original double eyelid line.
Excision: If there is extra skin, it is excised. The area between the original line and the new line is excised.
With the double-line release technique, the line can be lowered a lot, but two scars may form, and with excision, since skin is being cut out after all, the eyes might not close properly, or the space between the eyebrow and eye may become narrower.. When people want to remove the existing scar and only lower the line a little without being greedy, they seem to do excision.
