This was my fifth surgery. I had a saddle nose and the condition was obviously a mess to anyone, so they used autologous rib cartilage, perichondrium, and ear cartilage, and basically did a reconstruction. I had written a few posts here too, but I don’t know if someone reported me or what. When I logged in after a while, I couldn’t write comments anymore. Could it be an error.. I withdrew and signed up again.. At first I wondered if it was maybe the hospital where they used mesh and my columella became necrotic, but when I searched, that hospital seems to have closed down. Their website doesn’t come up either. I don’t know if they changed the name or shut down..
Still, after the last surgery, it seems like my nose shape is being maintained okay, so I feel a little relieved. It’ll soon be the three-month follow-up, and I wonder if they’ll reassure me a bit then. The director is even more cautious than I am. Every time I go, he says it’s still not time to feel reassured yet.. When on earth will I be able to feel reassured…
