I got fat-extraction injections for my double chin 3 hours ago The name is fat-extraction injection, but when I filled out the consent form, I was told it is performed through the same process as liposuction The differences in the process seem to be that the cannula tube is thinner and that it is done without an incision They said the holes made to insert the tube remain like acne scars after healing, then gradually fade and disappear; swelling from the injected solution continues until the same day, bruising and swelling that appear after the solution drains can last 2-3 weeks, and bio-bond can last 3-4 weeks
It went in the order of design - anesthesia - injection of solution to swell the fat & anesthetize - waiting about 15 minutes - extraction They kept telling me the anesthesia might sting a bit and to let them know if it hurt, but there was no pain It was just like, oh, they gave me an injection? Instead, the solution injection feels a bit uncomfortable After injecting the solution, while I was waiting, I wondered if they were keeping the tube inserted the whole time? but I don’t know the truth lol During the extraction process, it felt like the fat layer or whatever was being scraped through with a rumbling sensation They said my fat layer was not soft and was a bit tough, and maybe because of that, they extracted 45 cc They said an average body type usually has 25-30 cc extracted, and during consultation I was also told I did not have a very large amount of fat, but that much came out There was no pain at all, and from after solution injection through the extraction process it can feel a bit uncomfortable, but not to the point that you can’t tolerate it For those considering double-chin liposuction, I think it would be good to consider extraction injections too
