Hehe, like the post I uploaded recently about the day of surgery, I went in for my first breast consultation ever, and because I trusted the doctor in charge, I suddenly decided to have surgery. I'm a working mom of three. As I said, I'll share the story of my first surgery.
-Why I Decided on This Place- After my first breast consultation ever at Winne Plastic Surgery, the consultation was good enough that I decided to have surgery. (Of course, I think if you have the physical energy, mental space, and time to go around to several places, you should choose a doctor you can trust through multiple consultations. But I really do recommend at least one consultation at Winne!!! The director explained everything extremely thoroughly and in detail, from the surgical method, his philosophy(?) on breast surgery, to implant selection. The consultant was also so kind. All my questions were answered in just the first consultation.)
I also liked that it is a one-doctor breast-specialized clinic. They also have an anesthesiologist on site. Since it is a team specializing only in breast cases, I naturally think they can focus only on their area of focus, and then their skills are bound to improve. Just because a large hospital has many doctors doesn't guarantee that the surgery I need will turn out well, and I think the skill of the doctor performing my breast surgery is the most important. Here, rather than using a uniform surgical method, they design according to the patient's condition and carefully review the surgical method and implant selection, which I liked. No compression bandage, short surgery time, surgical orientation? and so on. (I felt it was about how quickly bleeding is controlled and how well the surgery is done in a short time, not that the doctor rushes through surgery carelessly. A long surgery time doesn't necessarily mean the surgery is good.)
-Implants & Procedures-
Motiva Demi 320, 340 cc (If I were single before marriage and wanted a more natural look, I would have chosen Demi, but since these breasts are basically for my husband's exclusive use anyway, maybe I should have gone glamorous and gotten Motiva Full lol I do feel a little regretful about this part.)
+ Accessory breast liposuction
+ Nipple reduction (It doesn't hurt at all when I'm still, but if my nipple touches something and tilts to the side, it hurts. I had the stitches removed on day 7, and today is day 10, but I think it still needs time to heal completely.)
-Postoperative Pain and Progress- Of course there is pain. My breasts throb and tingle, and using my arms is uncomfortable. But in my case, the area where I had accessory breast liposuction felt the stiffest and hurt the most, so I think if you don't have liposuction, the pain could be mild enough for people to say it is painless.
After surgery, I picked up my medication by myself, took public transportation, and went home, and after 48 hours I also drove long distance. So I think even people who are usually sensitive to pain could return to daily life within 2-3 days. Of course, that would be if you had a good surgery from a skilled doctor and your recovery is good, right?
Around one week, I could see the swelling and bruising going down, and I received good aftercare (CAPS & laser treatment. I don't remember the name). The doctor also checked the one-week care thoroughly and said the surgery went well.
Now that today is day 10, the throbbing pain has decreased a lot, and the rocket breasts that made me doubt whether the surgery was successful right after surgery are calming down haha
<7-day progress photo> There is still a little yellow bruising left, and there is a wound on the left breast where the upper band rubbed. Looking at the photo, I realized I'm too chubby even for myself to look at... Now that I have breasts, I also feel motivated to diet lol
For my next progress review, I'll come back with prettier photos after succeeding at dieting and after my breasts have settled better... haha
It's so fascinating that I don't know how many times a day I pull up my shirt to look. Are these really my breasts? haha I'm already wearing a correction bra without cups like in the photo, with nipple patches, and even with just one shirt on, there is volume, so I'm really looking forward to how my breasts will settle haha This has been my self-paid 10-day review so far~
For detailed reviews on breast augmentation, nipple reduction, accessory breast liposuction, etc., I'll come back with an honest evaluation after things settle more.
For the accessory breast liposuction, one side currently has something like a lump, but the clinic said it will improve, so for now I think I need to wait a bit longer and see the result before I can evaluate it.
