When I asked whether the eyebrows getting closer together would look unnatural, they showed me surgical photos and asked whether it looked unnatural even though they were close. The distance between the eyes did look a little close, but the double eyelids did seem natural. When I asked about sub-brow lift, they said they do not recommend it (they said they do not understand why people do it). They have a lot of pride in dynamic double eyelids. They said it is a difficult surgery, so other doctors do not really do it. The consultant explained again and spoke with strong presence and confidence, so it did make me want to do it. They said my eyes were not very droopy. They said upper blepharoplasty can make the eyes look unnatural, and recommended a sub-brow lift. They explained while holding a mirror and drawing lines on my eyes. When they said eyebrow scars may be visible, I asked whether I should get semi-permanent makeup before receiving the surgery or after surgery, and they said they do not necessarily recommend semi-permanent makeup, that I can do it or not do it, something like that. So it felt a bit vague. They answered various questions well, but there were also parts where they spoke a bit ambiguously. When I asked whether it would be okay to do a sub-brow lift and pinch the back of the eyes with the buried suture method, they said let's do that. (This part came to mind after watching YouTube, so I asked; before I asked, they did not suggest doing it. They said my left eyebrow rises quite a lot and that it can be controlled with forehead Botox. They said for sub-brow lift, they fix the muscle, and the maintenance period is 5-6 years. At the same time, they kept talking as if they were concerned that my left eyebrow keeps going up (I feel like maybe a more detailed discussion about this part was needed). They said anesthesia is local anesthesia. Surgery fee 1.5 million won, no consultation fee.
4. ㅅㅌㄹ ㅌ The clinic's facilities had an interior designed with patient convenience in mind, so the atmosphere was nice. Compared with other clinics, there were many patients. The director looked at my eyes and said that for sub-brow lift, since my left eyebrow is raised, as they drew the line, it has no choice but to come downward, so the scar would not be covered and would be visible. But the right side is straight, and they said the scar could also be visible there, and firmly said I would regret it, then recommended upper blepharoplasty (I had a mental breakdown here, because this was something I had not heard at the other two places). They also said they personally do not really like sub-brow lifts. When I asked whether upper blepharoplasty would not look unnatural, and whether it would not become sausage eyes, they said it would be fine if it is not done too much. Since these are eyes that had double eyelid surgery a long time ago, they said it has to be done below that double eyelid line, but I'm also worried whether the double eyelids might become too small. As I keep worrying like this, I even think, isn't this level of eyes still okay? Should I just not do it? Right now, if circumstances do not allow, I may not do it, but since I already looked into it, I plan to visit more places.
