I went to three consultations for under-eye fat repositioning.
1. ㅇㄹ (ㅎㅇㅅ) I went once because there were many reviews here. It seemed like there were several directors, but when I made the consultation appointment, I didn’t designate one, so the hospital connected me with ㅎㅇㅅ. They did not ask me if I had a preferred director. After the doctor looked at me, he said my case had hollow eyes, so I needed repositioning and fat grafting. The explanation was the most cursory. Surgery time was 40 minutes. Since this was my first consultation, I just thought maybe that was how it was. But after the director’s consultation, the manager consultation was a bit ridiculous. When I said I was worried about side effects, she immediately said, “Under-eye fat repositioning has no side effects.” Is there any surgery in the world with no side effects?? I said I had seen things in reviews, and she still said there were none lol When I asked if Director ㅎㅇㅅ had a lot of experience, she vaguely said that many people come after being recommended. Because of the fat grafting, the price was the highest of the three, but if you do a review event, it magically becomes the cheapest. They said I could post a review on Babitalk. Only this place diagnosed me as having hollow under-eyes, both the director and manager consultations were not good, they did not show me a single before-and-after photo, and I dislike review events and things like that, so I ruled this place out immediately.
2. ㅇㅁㄱ A one-doctor clinic. I liked the manager consultation. It was comfortable, with no pushing. They showed me after photos similar to me during the consultation. The manager said the director is extremely meticulous, so I was very tempted. They said they only do eye surgery once a day. The director consultation was okay, but somehow unique. He said he would only do repositioning without fat grafting. Surgery time: 1 hour. After getting this consultation, I wondered if I should choose this place. It felt more trustworthy than the first place. But the reasons I didn’t choose it were that the director looked somewhat older, and this place seemed to focus more on fat grafting.. If I hadn’t had the third consultation, I probably would have done it here.
3. ㅇㅅㅋ A one-doctor clinic. This is a place I had been keeping an eye on. It took more than a month to get a consultation appointment. I went on time, but they were in surgery, so I waited a long time. I went into the director consultation first, and just as I had heard, he explained in detail. He explained the surgical method. He said it would be done under local anesthesia and that I only needed under-eye fat repositioning. Surgery time: 40 minutes. The manager consultation was just okay. The manager here talked and acted exactly like the manager character YouTuber Ralral plays, so it was funny. In the end, I decided on this place because local anesthesia felt less scary to me than sedation anesthesia, and this place specializes in under-eye fat repositioning, so it seems to have the most surgical cases. Since it was a place I had kept watching, I probably also felt the strongest internal familiarity with it.
