I had surgery yesterday~~ Honestly, yesterday was a bit hectic I was also nervous because I was having surgery haha
So I’m going to try to write this by piecing together what I remember now, because I think I’ll forget if more time passes lol
First, I arrived at the clinic! They checked my ID and I paid the remaining balance! (Since they even checked my ID, it somehow felt like I was undergoing a major surgery~) Then I changed into surgical clothes Someone said it’s good to wear a comfortable dress, so I wore an easy, comfy dress that I can just throw on, and changing clothes was convenient! This is actually a pretty good tip!! Then I washed my face once and saw the consultant She gave me an ice pack and prescription, and explained this and that, like precautions After that, I met the director and we set the line After hearing the explanation once more, I waited for a bit, and from then on I was like, ‘Wow, I really am having surgery..’ so my heart was pounding like crazy Then I went into the operating room and had the surgery I don’t remember the surgery; I guess anesthesia works really well on me~^^ I basically knocked right out~ I don’t know if they were setting the line in the middle, but I think I opened my eyes partway through, though I was half-asleep so I don’t remember well lol Then I rested at the clinic for a bit and came home
Roughly, that’s what I remember, but thinking back on yesterday, I think the surgery went pretty well? lol
And when I looked at my eyes this morning, they looked like obvious double eyelid surgery eyes to anyone lololol I have swelling and bruising right now haha My mom was surprised at first when she saw my eyes today I think she found it fascinating because it was her first time seeing someone who had double eyelid surgery
Right now, other than a tiny bit of tearing, there’s nothing uncomfortable! Nothing hurts either; it’s just that my eyes are swollen, so when I open them, they feel tight and puffy
For now, I’m going to take a very light, short walk later tonight.. It should be okay to go out like this, right..? How did everyone go for walks after double eyelid surgery? Just thinking about going outside is already embarrassing lol
