<TMI before arrival> First, it was kind of funny even in the elevator I got on, then three or four people piled in, and when they all saw I had pressed the 7th floor, they just stood there quietly.. We all awkwardly got off at the plastic surgery clinic together.
<Head counselor> The consultation counselor was kind and pretty. Honestly, the kindness was average, but there was this vibe like it had been sharpened by years of experience, and her face was so pretty that it just made me feel good. I am very much a face person ㅇㅇ
<Doctor> Director Noh came in bowing his head to greet us, and because of that I awkwardly stood up and bowed back I honestly didn't have high expectations for a large hospital, so before the consultation I thought I'd just listen to the explanation and use that as reference, but the doctor was so confident that I got tempted. It wasn't like, 'I can do it!!!' but more like, 'Heh.. this is nothing.' About 3 to 4 years ago, I had my dorsal hump reduced and covered with a single layer using the thinnest silicone, and I ended up thinking about revision because I really hated that silicone. (It had bent and sunk in) At the time of my surgery, everyone said that if you had a hump you absolutely had to put in an implant, so I reluctantly just went along with it and had the surgery. But after hearing me out, the doctor said what are you talking about, this doctor is definitely younger than me, and he himself had always done surgeries without implants.. So I was like, yes.. I should have done more clinic visitsㅇ- and reflected on that.
<Surgery method + price> For a revision, the surgery was said to be fairly simple and take about 2 hours (remove the silicone, shave the hump a bit more, and refine the tip?) and the price was roughly expected to be in the high 3 million won range if I agreed to partial photo disclosure ㅇㅇ But the doctor's style seemed to have a fixed aesthetic standard more than thinking about facial harmony. After seeing the post-op photos, my personal impression was that it felt a bit like Lee Min-jung's nose..? It seemed like that kind of style. It might end up looking a little glamorous, so I felt I should seriously think first about whether that nose would suit my face. *CT cost: 10,000 won
+Since it's a large hospital, I had avoided it a bit because of the surrogate surgery issue, but seeing the doctor who looked like he had not a single spare minute made me feel slightly reassured. Honestly, these days even university hospitals are full of surrogate surgeries, so I wondered how much worse it would be in plastic surgery clinics. Still anxious, but.. well... at least my impression after the consultation was favorable. For reference, they said if you do the eyes together, they give an extra 10% discount.

It wasn't on the main road, and unlike ㄱㄹㅂ it was quiet and the staff seemed relaxed ㅇㅇ
<Head counselor> The consultation counselor seemed to have a lot of experience and her eye for detail was really good. (Before I even brought it up, she knew my eyes were not done, my nose was done but what was wrong, and why I wanted my eyes done, like some kind of fortune teller) And both the counselor and the doctor were really nice people. If you go there, you'll understand what I mean.. It's not fake politeness, just that they seem genuinely good people at a glance.
<Doctor> And here, the doctor carefully looked at facial proportions ㅇㅇ You know how some hospitals just take the eye and nose shape you think is pretty and make that exact thing, while others recommend the shape that suits you based on harmony? This place is the latter ㅇㅇ He looked at my prominent brow bone and said if the starting point of the nose is too low, it could make it look more protruding.. He even measured my nose length with some ruler-like angle tool, and was extremely meticulous.
<Surgery method + price> Here, they recommended shaving the hump a bit more and reinserting silicone. If you don't cover it with anything, the hump could grow more later. But my skin is on the thin side, so I was worried because I can feel where the silicone width starts and ends and it shows.. So after the consultation I asked the head counselor additionally, and she said the doctor would probably trim the side portions before placing the silicone Since the doctor also said he could make it unnoticeable, he will probably shape it directly before inserting it. The operation time was said to be about 2 hours for the nose, the same as ㄱㄹㅂ. *Consultation fee without CT: 10,000 won
Ah! There are no separate discounts here and the price is fixed. As expected, expensive^^ I came expecting that, but it was even more expensive than I expected.. mid-4 million won including the revision cost for the nose… no discount for doing the eyes together either…. For reference, the buried-suture cost is 1.1 million won including VAT, so keep that in mind..

<Head counselor> She was kind. I had seen a lot of people saying she was very kind, so I went in thinking, ah yes, she really is gentle, while consulting. From the consultation onward, the head counselor asked very detailed questions. Among the three hospitals I visited so far, this one asked the most detailed questions and took the most detailed notes.
<Doctor> As expected, very kind. And he looks at the face very well! What I mean is, unlike ㅎㅇㅌ, which tried to operate while changing as little as possible from my existing face, here they first recommended a line that would suit me. In the case of double eyelid surgery, I somehow ended up with a semi-out line after I was past 20, and I vaguely thought that since people even pay money to make it out, I should just maintain this line and only correct the asymmetry~ That was actually the recommendation from the hospital I visited before too ㅇㅇ But here, the doctor drew an in-out line for me with the inner corner of the eye fully tucked in, and that looked much more suitable..? So my mind changed a bit.
<Surgery method + price> But he said my face wasn't one that absolutely needed surgery, yet why did he check so many things for nose correction(I told you there wasn't much to fix, doctor) The revision cost is really insanely expensive.. He said the surgery itself would take 3 hours just for the nose. When they saw the price, the head counselor also seemed a little surprised (as if they hadn't expected it) I didn't say anything, but she got super serious on her own and said if I contact them within this week, they'd take off another 500,000 won. She looked kind of apologetic *If you disclose partial photos and write 3 reviews, a discounted price applies. But even with the discount it's still expensive, so keep that in mind.. If you're going to do it here, make the surgery decision quickly so you can get the extra discount
Anyway, here they said they would remove the silicone and refine the line using fascia from behind the ear, and it felt like a hump-specialist place that does it without silicone. They don't schedule many surgeries in a day (seems like a maximum of 2), and since guardians can also watch the CCTV during surgery, it feels reassuring!

He also shaped the result in a very natural way. (Photoshopped on my photo) But after looking at the CT images, he said it looked like Gore-Tex was in there instead of silicone, and I was shocked.. The hospital where I had my previous surgery said they would put in the thinnest silicone gel, but... thinking they may have put in Gore-Tex without even discussing it with me made me incredibly depressed. I chose this doctor thinking he had a good eye for people and at least wouldn't scam me.. If it really is Gore-Tex, I'll go to the hospital and raise hell^-^ Anyway, if I do surgery here, he gave me homework to bring the surgical record from the hospital that did my previous surgery.. But if they really deceived me, would they hand over that record so easily... sigh
<Surgery method + price> The surgery method is similar to other hospitals. Remove the silicone, refine the tip, and likely shape it with septal cartilage. The price is.. revision surgery base 5 million won….. shocking. In fact, he said it's cheap for a revision, so keep that in mind everyone... The doctor feels highly professional, which I like, but the price is so shocking that I'm still thinking it over.. Oh, and the consultation fee is 25,000 won because they take CT and X-ray!
<Notes> 1) I did not write down every surgical method the hospitals mentioned. I only wrote the rough framework. 2) Everyone, please don't get revision surgery if you can avoid it and just pay more from the start to go to someone experienced... 3) Except for ㄱㄹㅂ, all of these are clinics with only one doctor, so I didn't write separate doctor names!
<Conclusion> ㄱㄹㅂ: A bold 10-year aftercare policy, a slightly factory-like feel
ㅎㅇㅌ: An older doctor with a lot of experience, pursuing naturalness, operating based on methods already used rather than new techniques
ㅇㅂㄹ: The ultimate in kindness, recommends shapes that suit the patient, guardians can watch CCTV during surgery
ㅊㄷㅊ: So natural that even a surgery detective may not be able to tell, but expensive
Price: ㄱㄹㅂ < ㅎㅇㅌ, ㅇㅂㄹ < ㅊㄷㅊ
