Double eyelid surgery + magic epicanthoplasty, 8 years later (daring to give plastic surgery advice)

I had double eyelid surgery + magic epicanthoplasty about 8 years ago. It was so long ago that I don't really remember the cost.. I think it was a little over 1 million won, anyway somewhere around there. I got double eyelid surgery because it was the place where a high school classmate had hers done, so I went too. The location was Nowon Station. It doesn't come up even if I search for the clinic here. There were a lot of people. I went because it had word of mouth for making it look natural, and I felt like I should get double eyelids. For the epicanthoplasty, I went in still unsure whether to do it or not. After consulting with the director, I consulted with the coordinator. The director was busy, so the consultation wasn't long. He explained briefly, measured the front corners of my eyes, and also marked out the double eyelid line. When I asked, "Would it be better to get epicanthoplasty?" it felt like he immediately jumped at it and said it would be good to do it. When my questions were about to get longer, I felt the director give a look, and the rest was consultation with the coordinator. I had gone intending to do it anyway, so I think I made the appointment right away and left. Magic epicanthoplasty is a surgery where the scar is hidden so it doesn't show, but in my case they opened one eye more, so on one side I ended up with a white scar that looks like eye discharge. As for the double eyelids being uneven, I could accept that because the eyes are different, but when I went for follow-up because I was worried and told them my concerns, the director clapped and said my eyes turned out amazingly well He said they keep changing up to 1 year, so wait 1 year and come back for AS. Personally, rather than that, I wish he had explained what part I was unhappy with and why it ended up this way. My two eyes were originally uneven in length from the nose. After the epicanthoplasty, it seemed like he opened them so the distance from the nose to the inner corners was even. But doing that actually left a white scar on the side where the distance from the nose to the inner corner had originally been farther. Even the area without a visible scar still has a bit of scar tissue to this day. The double eyelid surgery turned out well, but I have a lot of regret about the epicanthoplasty. Also, after 8 years, as my skin sagged, the scar that had been hidden became more visible, so I'm looking into reconstruction again. Plastic surgery doesn't necessarily turn out exactly the way I want, unexpected scars can happen, and above all, the result is borne entirely by me, the owner of the face, not by the clinic that performed the surgery. Unless you plan to keep fixing little things for life like celebrities, or unless you have a major complex about your appearance, I'm of the view that plastic surgery should be minimized..
