Eye Surgery Reviews

7 months after incision + eye correction

Before <original eyes> After <day of surgery> After <day 4> After <7 months> 1. Why I chose Jeong Wungki Plastic Surgery I originally wanted to get double eyelid surgery as soon as I became an adult, but since my hometown is in the provinces, I kept putting it off. Then at 21, during winter break of my first year of college, I started looking into clinics! I thought I should get surgery in Seoul, so I made a list after browsing a community for cosmetic surgery and other cosmetic surgery cafes, and narrowed it down to 4 clinics in total! Among them, Jeong Wungki Plastic Surgery was the most appealing.. First of all, it was a one-doctor clinic, and I liked that it focused on eye surgery! Also, since I was going to consultations alone and was still a student, I went around with a strong resolve to get cosmetic consultations, and the consultant manager at Jeong Wungki was incredibly kind.. I was already won over.. The doctor also looked at my line very carefully, which I liked, and there was no consultation fee either. 1-2. Consultation process 1) Consultation with the consultant manager The consultation manager was really, really kind.. Before seeing the doctor, she first designed the line and explained the surgery method. I also liked that she answered the questions I asked in detail.! Even after the consultation, if I texted with questions, she quickly called back to answer, which was touching. Oh, and I was very worried about swelling, but the manager said that because the doctor was skilled I wouldn’t swell much. I half believed it, but even right after surgery, it wasn’t as gruesome as I expected, which surprised me. The swelling also wasn’t bad and really went down quickly.. 2) Consultation with the doctor First of all, the doctor seemed very honest and direct. He explained logically that because my eyes use forehead muscle and my eye-opening strength is weak, I needed eye correction, and that by doing an incision and changing the eye structure, he could widen my options for the eye shape. I liked that he explained it in such a logical way. And when designing the line, he seemed to really value the overall harmony of the face..? When I showed him photos of the line I wanted and said I wanted an in-out line!, he recommended more detailed things like line thickness and asked how about something like this. But the fact that even a millimeter difference can completely change the vibe was insanely fascinating.

3. Surgery process 1) Surgery process On the surgery day, I arrived 30 minutes early to hear the precautions and get the design done, but I think that took 30 minutes.. It took a while because I was debating whether to raise or lower the line.. Anyway, after the design, the surgery itself was about 1 hour..? But it felt like 30 minutes. For anesthesia, they used local anesthesia + sedation, so during surgery I briefly fell asleep, and when I woke up, the doctor had me open and close my eyes several times in the middle of the procedure. 4. Results My original eyes looked really sleepy.. and weak..

The design I wanted was an in-out line, but I wanted it absolutely natural! Looking back now, I do slightly regret not being a little more ambitious, but anyway I preferred a natural in-out line. In the end, I’m satisfied because I got a natural in-out line! Photos from the day of surgery, day 4, day 11, and month 7! The swelling went down really fast, so I could go to school after the semester started without feeling embarrassed! When I went home after the surgery, they packed a lot of things for me. I don’t know if other places do the same, but I liked that they gave me a sheet mask, a cold pack, and gauze.!

I used to just read review posts at the start of the year, so now that I succeeded with my surgery and am writing one myself, I’m so happy..! Highly recommend Jeong Wungki Plastic Surgery!
