Orthodontic treatment review

I didn’t know there were reviews for orthodontic treatment here. Does orthodontic treatment count as cosmetic surgery...? I thought it was orthopedics.

I had orthodontic treatment from 2019 until April this year, and I went there after being introduced by an acquaintance of my parents. My parents also said this was a place we could trust, and since it was an introduction from someone they knew, I thought they would probably pay more attention to me. (I don’t really know the cost because my parents handled it...)

Rather than doing it quickly, since I was getting it done at an older age, they tried to minimize damage to my oral cavity as much as possible.

I had severe malocclusion, so I accepted that some black triangles would form.

Black triangles (hereafter “BT”) inevitably form unless you are in the growth period when gingival tissue grows well, so everyone whose growth period is over, please keep that in mind.

Tartar forms easily in BT areas, so you need to take good care of them after orthodontic treatment, and the spaces are prone to decay, so the BT can get larger.

I had a lot of overlapping teeth and not enough space, so I proceeded after extracting 4 teeth.

Aside from having a lot of BT, I think I got the best result my teeth could achieve, given my narrow jaw and small teeth.

Until orthodontic treatment, my teeth were the worst complex of my life, something I couldn’t cover up with effort. My thighs were next.

Eventually, when I get older, I’ll probably need implants, but my satisfaction with orthodontic treatment is the highest!

I had it done in a fairly distant metropolitan city while I was taking a leave of absence from school, so I’m not sure if the information will be useful, but message me if you’re curious.
