Eye Re-Surgery

There’s a difference of opinion about the clinic’s after-service; what should I do?

First of all, the line does not connect smoothly, so this is a situation where I need to receive after-service.

To explain the background of my double eyelid surgery, I already had double eyelids for correction of asymmetrical eyes, so one eye’s line was raised, and for the other eye, since it would look awkward to only do one side, they just sutured along the existing line.

But compared with the original line, the line was not as high as I expected, so my eyes look stuffy, and the asymmetry is still there. (During the consultation, they said that if the eyes are asymmetrical, they would pay more attention and raise the side where the double eyelid is lower, but on the day of surgery, they changed their words and said they can’t set the lines differently, so I have to accept the asymmetry)

So in the end, I’m in a situation where I’m not satisfied with the result, and one eye’s line is also not smooth. Through this surgery, I learned that for my eyes, the line needs to be set a bit higher so that the line on the smaller-looking eye (the part with more upper eyelid tissue) is at least less swallowed up, so I asked them to raise all the lines altogether.

At first, the clinic said it was possible, but when I actually set the surgery date, they changed their words and said they could only give a definite answer after I come in for a consultation. (For reference, I live overseas, so I booked a flight because of this.)

So if I go and they can’t raise the line, there’s no point in spending several million won to go to Korea now, right? What should I do? If I speak strongly to the doctor, will they listen?
