Before before after after after Hello ~~ I’m leaving a 12-month review after two-jaw surgery! I can’t believe it’s already been 12 months; time feels like it went by so fast!! There was a time when I looked at my swelling in the mirror every single day, but somehow it’s already been a year haha About a year ago, I had two-jaw surgery and 2 types of facial contouring (square jaw and chin) at Y Oral because of a protruding lower jaw and malocclusion!! I’m very satisfied. The biggest positive result after two-jaw surgery is, as expected, the change in appearance..!! The miserable version of me who always hated showing my side profile to others and covered my lower face with my hand every time I took pictures is gone now haha
Now all my sensation has come back too, and I was especially worried because I had no sensation in my palate, but I think about 98% of it has returned!
As I wrap up the story of my surgery with orthodontic treatment, there are still difficult parts, but the effect of two-jaw surgery is tremendous enough to cover all of that! After surgery, I realized how important it is for a person to live with self-esteem I’m just waiting for the day I can quickly get my braces off and smile truly freely! Even thinking about it again, I have never once regretted having surgery at this hospital haha For those who are under a lot of stress and have developed a complex because of their lower face, I really think it would be good to at least get a consultation!
