The hospital says you can return to daily life 1-2 weeks after LASEK, but that “daily life” just means eating meals and going to the bathroom. Your vision only stabilizes after at least 6 months. I’m at 11 months, and I still haven’t fully adapted. LASEK has to be viewed slowly over a long period of time, but it’s true that it’s better for eye health than LASIK.
