Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

2-week review of 2-type facial contouring (square jaw + chin tip) / Noh Jong-hoon...

Before<surgery before>Before<surgery before>Before<surgery after>Before<surgery after>I had it done at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery, and this is my 2-week facial contouring review!

I had been concerned for a long time because my chin was long and my face was asymmetricㅜ It was also stressful that my chin looked prominent in photos, so after thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to proceed with facial contouring.

I did quite a lot of consultations because I wanted to improve my chin area, but some hospitals suggested doing the cheekbones together, and some even recommended double-jaw surgery.. That was a bit stressful, so I chose a hospital that didn’t excessively recommend surgeries I didn’t want. Also, I prefer a natural facial line over a doll-like line, so I think that was an important criterion too.

It was my first major surgery under general anesthesia, so I was extremely nervous on the day, but thankfully, really thankfully, I don’t think the areas where the bone was cut hurtㅏ Of course, the inside of my mouth was very swollen and I had a lot of phlegm, so breathing was more difficult than usual...ㅜ At first this was so scary that I called the nurses a lot, but every time they came, they reassured me, so I think I got through it safely.

The next day, I went home by taxi with my mom, and on the second day, I felt mentally alert enough to walk around by myself. If having a guardian accompany you is difficult, I think you could call a Kakao Taxi by yourself and go home the day after hospitalization (but if possible, I recommend having a guardian with you.. Since you’re a bit out of it, it helps a lot..)

Until days 4 to 5, I was still very swollen and had to keep wearing the compression band, so I think it was a bit difficult to go around bare-faced during the day. Instead, I went for walks every night! Also, until days 4 to 5, my voice didn’t come out well, so it would be good to keep that in mind in advance. I could express simple intentions, but my pronunciation and vocalization still felt a bit awkward. I was worried my voice might not come back, but exactly at one week, it all came back!

From around one week, I could really feel the swelling going down every day. As soon as I reached week 2, I started meeting friends, and if I went out wearing a mask, the swelling had gone down enough that even close friends couldn’t tell! And right at week 2, I had the stitches removed, and I’m very satisfied because the incision sites are clean.

Honestly, right up until just before surgery, I was really torn about whether to do facial contouring or not, but now that I’ve done it and looked at old photos, I think I’m extremely satisfied. I’ll come back with another review when more swelling goes down!
