I decided on surgery last year and even made a reservation, but due to personal circumstances like moving, I canceled it, then went for a consultation again this year. People around me said, isn’t it a bit iffy to go back to a place you canceled, and told me to look elsewhere, but it was a place I’d been drawn to during my first consultation, so I went back for another consultation.
For the re-consultation, I had the same consultant as last year, but I didn’t feel the kindness I felt last year, and she spoke somewhat half-heartedly. (For now, I thought maybe she was tired because I went in the afternoon)
After the consultation with the consultant, the director came in and talked about the same surgical method using last year’s photos. (Bulbous nose + nasolabial angle + nasal tip defining point + columella) + donated costal cartilage if needed
* When I asked if getting my nose done could add a bit more three-dimensionality, they recommended cheekbones.
For now, I only have time in early February, so I hurriedly put down a deposit, but even though there’s only 1 week left until surgery, I haven’t received any contact. (I’m wondering if that’s normal)
It feels different from last year, so I’m really torn. I’m wondering whether I should cancel, postpone the surgery to next year, and do more legwork looking at other places
