Before<surgery before 1>Before<surgery before 2>After Before Before<after surgery>I kept meaning to write a review every day, but I’m only writing it now haha I had what they call philtrum-nose surgery, meaning philtrum reduction and rhinoplasty. At first I was out of my mind taking care of it, and these days I’ve been out of my mind having fun.
Before surgery, my nose had a hump and the nose itself was also on the larger side, so it gave a strong impression like a man’s face. On top of that, my philtrum was long too (was it 2.1 cm or 2.2?), so my side profile looked very masculine.
When I had the surgical consultation, the nasal tip and bridge were of course important, but I think I asked a lot for them to make the overall size of my nose itself look prettier and more refined! Around 10 days after surgery, they removed things like the intranasal packing and tape, and even though there was swelling, I was definitely more satisfied than before surgery. I was also young and recovered relatively quickly, so I was able to go out and wear makeup after about a month.
But not everything was good after surgery. It was okay until around 5-6 weeks, but after that, scar tissue started forming inside my nose, and that period was a bit difficult. I would sometimes get a pulling sensation and tingling sensation, so my nerves became a bit sensitive. Still, since the incision was inside the nose, it wasn’t visible unless I tilted my head back to show it, so I’m glad I didn’t have to worry about other people’s eyes. The pulling lasted almost about half a year, and it was a bit worse around months 2-3, but maybe I got used to it, or maybe the pulling gradually loosened; it did get better with time. Because it was inside the nose, regenerative laser and things like that couldn’t reach it, so I just endured it thinking time was the medicine haha
This wasn’t a planned review, so I don’t really have anything more to write haha Let’s all get prettier~
