I brought what I gathered from clinic-shopping yesterday so friends looking into plastic surgery can refer to it!! First, my eyes are a revision surgery, and my nose is my first time! I had my eyes done about 9 years ago? It’s been so long that the line has come down a lot, and even though I had double eyelid surgery, lately I’ve been wearing double eyelid tape every day. For my nose, since I’d be lying on the operating table anyway, I wanted to fix my complex about my hump nose and arrow-shaped nose a bit, so I went for consultations together! As I wrote in the title, I went to 5 places: ㅁㅎ, ㅈㅇㅈㅇ, ㅈㅅㅌ, ㅀ, ㅍㄹㅇㅂ.
ㅀ (ㅜㅗ) - Park, Kim Eyes - incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + upper epicanthoplasty + fat removal / Nose - hump nose + deviated nose + long nose + costal cartilage This is the quote I got! Even though it was a weekday, the wait was really longㅠㅠ It felt like over an hour. If I hadn’t left plenty of time between appointments, I almost wouldn’t have made it to the consultation at ㅈㅇㅈㅇ ㅠㅠ The director and consultant were both pretty kind, but the director’s nose consultation was quite short, about 10 minutes? It felt like he touched my nose a few times and it was over. But for eyes, he consulted really kindly, so I am drawn to it. But... it was so... so expensive... If you’re curious, leave a comment... ㅈㅇㅈㅇ (Korean name) - Go Eyes - incisional ptosis correction + fat removal / Nose - hump nose + deviated nose + long nose + osteotomy + forehead fat grafting This is the quote I got! This was also on a weekday and there was a wait, but it was shorter than ㅀ. Both the consultant and director were kind, and maybe because I got both my eye and nose consultation from Director Han here, the consultation was really long. He explained it in a way that even a beginner could understand right away, easily and in detail. When I said I wanted a feminine nose, he recommended osteotomy. He explained the nose well while touching it too. Since ㅀ had recommended canthoplasty, I asked about canthoplasty, and he said it wasn’t absolutely necessary but was possible if I wanted, so I’ll think about that. But here, they also recommended forehead fat grafting. When I said my side profile was really important, he said then it would be good to do forehead fat grafting too and make the side line feminine with a curved(?) feeling. He explained while drawing, and somehow I got completely persuaded. I also liked the eye line he held for me here, and the director’s explanation was good, so I put down a deposit! The cost here was a bit lower than ㅀ!
ㅈㅅㅌ (ㅔㅡㅏ) - Yoo, Choi Eyes - incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + fat removal / Nose - hump nose + deviated nose + long nose + costal cartilage + osteotomy This is the quote I got! I went here on a weekday too, and there was a little wait. I liked both the consultant and the directors, and Director Yoo here was really kind. The consultation itself wasn’t that long, but I could feel that he worked hard to set the line. It’s not like I absolutely loved the line, but I could feel he set it carefully. I’m also wondering whether I should go for another consultation. The line felt subtly a little off from the line I wantㅠㅠㅠ The nose consultation was good too! For now this place is my second choice, so I put down a deposit!
ㅁㅎ(ㅣㅗ) - Yoon I only had a nose consultation, and the diagnosis I received was nose - hump nose + deviated nose + long nose correction. Here.. the director explained things very calmly and well, but the consultant was kind of subtle? There was pressure to put down a deposit, and it felt a bit like they were making a diagnosis? I’m a bit resistant to that kind of thing, and the cost was too expensiveㅠㅠ so I ruled it out. If you’re curious about the details, leave a comment!!
ㅍㄹㅇㅂ(ㅡㅏㅣㅣ)- Lee Jinㅎ This place had the longest wait out of all the places I consulted at.. Almost, well, if I exaggerate, I think I waited 1 hourㅠㅠㅠ The director was kind. Kind, but a little how should I put it, he answered all my questions, but he looked busy, so I felt like I had to watch myself? But that’s just my personal feeling! Still, he answered everything I asked, and he didn’t skim over things; he looked carefully!!! But even if you make a reservation, the wait is long, which in one way might mean they spend a long time on consultations, but from another angle, if I have a problem later, I feel like I wouldn’t be seen right away, so I ruled it out.
For now, I initially put deposits down at ㅀ, ㅈㅇㅈㅇ, and ㅈㅅㅌ, but now I’ve decided to cancel ㅀ, and I’m planning to decide between ㅈㅇㅈㅇ and ㅈㅅㅌ by tomorrow and contact them. I already have surgery booked for next week, so ㅎ.... If you have any questions, leave a comment!
