I started getting interested in lifting lasers about 2 years ago, so I tried them little by little. At the beginning of this year, I thought I should try Ultherapy once too, so I did it. I’ll write this review mainly about the effects I felt after paying for it myself.
Shurink I received it several times with only slight differences in the number of shots each time, like 300 shots or 400 shots at once (I think I just paid for one session of whatever package I needed that day).. I got it at a factory-style clinic in the Gangnam area, and I didn’t go extremely often, but I think I went once every 2-3 months with the feeling of investing a bit. They apply numbing cream, leave it on for a while, and then start the procedure! They apply cold gel and pass over the area with the tip. On the cheek area where there’s some flesh, I could just feel it and it was okay.. But when doing the jawline, it stung quite a lot and there was pain They said pain differs from person to person.. Speaking for myself, I think it was tolerable if I just shut my eyes and endured it (for reference, I have an average amount of facial fat and not much flesh on my jawline). The effect was like the line looked slightly tidier? It’s not dramatic. It doesn’t feel like unwanted fat was improved. It might be something only I noticed, but the faint nasolabial fold area felt a bit improved at the time I got it, so I liked that. The effect lasts 2-3 months, but I got it thinking it would still be better than not getting it.
Ultherapy After seeing something on YouTube or in a post and hearing that it’s good for preventing aging.. I made up my mind and tried it once. I don’t remember the exact price well, but it was in the 1 million won range! I debated whether to do 400 shots or 300 shots and ended up getting 300 shots Before this, Shurink had hurt so much around my chin… and I heard Ultherapy hurts more, so I was scared.. Because I was scared, I searched for a place that would do it under sedation and went there. I searched “sedation Ultherapy” on an app and went, thinking I’d just try it once… Since it was under sedation, when the procedure ended, I just opened my eyes, and for a few days after the procedure, my face felt swollen. It wasn’t extremely swollen, but it was swollen in a slightly round, full-moon kind of way. At that time I was having a hard time because of work, so I did lose some weight.. But even taking that into account, I could feel a before-and-after difference. Once the swelling went down, my facial line looked a bit slimmer.. It left a lifted, tightened feeling. Even people passing by told me I’d lost a lot of weight;; This felt much stronger than Shurink, so I thought people might like or dislike it. If you have a lot of facial fat, I recommend it, but I think people without much facial fat should protect their facial fat. I felt the effect for about 4-5 months, and personally I was satisfied. If I get it again, I think I’ll consider it later alongside other procedures.
I think both Shurink and Ultherapy are good for tidying the facial line. But for both… I don’t really recommend them to people without much facial fat, and Ultherapy in particular felt strong by my standards, so I think it would be good to do around the age when sagging starts to bother you a bit. I won’t disclose the clinic. Please just read it as a procedure review!
The end!
