6-year review after double-jaw surgery! I had worried about it a lot since high school, and ended up getting it done when I turned 20.
There were a lot of posts about side effects, so I was extremely worried, but up to now I’m healthy, have had no problems, and am very, very satisfied haha
I had orthodontic treatment for about 1 year.
On the first day after surgery, a lot of blood built up in my nose, so it was really hard, but I think what was even harder was having to keep eating only thin nutritional porridge with a syringe until the one-month mark.
